Hello....
But only marginally. 20 laps, at least 2 behind a safety car. Why did they not go for mediums for the pace?Lady Luck for Sainz there, could push hard to end of the race now on newer hards than Verstappen
Congrats on your 3rd post in the F1 thread that doesn't have the words crybaby in itFinally Saints got a bit a luck .
Agreefeels a career defining moment for sainz. if he doesn’t have it in him now then i don’t think he ever will.
Probably graining on the other compounds, we’ve had no support races this weekend and this circuit has a high wear to it.Why did they put Hard tyres on Sainz![]()
They'd both only just been in.Mercedes didn’t come in. What have they done again![]()
Doubt it, they’ll want to bring home the constructor points. Will Russell be allowed to challenge Hamilton?
Still, everyone behind them came in and were always coming in due to tyre age. Got to have come in in my books. And put them on mediums. They'd both only just been in.
Medium has been fine for this many laps. Also, everyone else has pretty much gone on mediums.Probably graining on the other compounds, we’ve had no support races this weekend and this circuit has a high wear to it.
6 laps of hard tyre wear is nothing when there’s less than 20 laps left. Even stevens.
Exactly. Had to go on mediums in my view. And if it failed then so be it. But 6 lap old Hard vs new Hard is no different.I don't think Max tyres are that much older than Sainz to make a difference?
No but he was going to be a sitting suck as the race went on on those old tyres.I don't think Max tyres are that much older than Sainz to make a difference?
It’s a good point. We’ll see how the cars behind the Merc’s get on.And Sainz mediums would have heated up faster. To me, it’s a strategy mistake.
