Bruno can't retain the ball. He can only pass it forward if he's unmarked or either he's flicking it on the first touch.

He is not a playmaker in the mould of scholes, iniesta etc.
Yet we gave him an inflated wage & have basically told EtH you’re stuck with a guy that refuses to do the basics. I like Bruno but even he can’t be forgiven this season.

There's been more than enough occasions this season where we've got what we deserved and been trailing in games, this is not one of those games. Admittedly we started horribly but Arsenal have had pretty much everything go their way that half and can count their lucky stars that they're somehow ahead in this game.

Our performances have been so variable between halves that it's hard to know if we're gonna come out and put in a similar or better showing in the second half but if we do then I fancy us to get something from this, as long as we don't get absolutely robbed by the officiating.

Missus is fuming, Arsenal scored the second I said that's it love were off out....

She throws on her coat and Ronaldo scores and say I can't go out now love. We all know I've wasted my time as this side clearly have no balls.

We need a couple of DM asap
We are so easy to pass through in the middle
It’s like 5 a side Footie where sliding tackles are not allowed
    Ronaldo really playing well
We need the old Bruno back and I don’t know what Sancho actually does
    We miss Fred btw

There wasn't even an attacker near them. They both tried to hack it away when they both had time for touches.

    Doesn't matter who was keeper

The total lack of communication and organisation starts with the keeper and works it's way out. He does nothing to organise his back 4, who in turn do nothing to control the spaces for the midfield to cover in front of them. This is why they do not play as a unit.

Which is why we see so much comical defending and scrambling when the ball comes near the box. Which is why this team has a worse defence than fecking Burnley who are third from bottom.

Bloody stupid team. U have time to put the ball in and we wait for the whistle.

I know we feel this way but the players don’t have the clock constantly in their eye line. They look up periodically I’m sure but usually they only have a general sense of how long left.

not sure bruno's had one decent game this year

So what are you arguing? That player being offside has nothing to do with the foul that took place before. He's only offside because the ball came to him after the foul.
The goalscorer was offside when Odegaard played it through. I’m clutching!

Either way, feck it, we’ll win this!

I think that’s falling, most players in professional football will fall at pace whilst trying keep their feet.
Just out of interest how many close decisions would you say have gone Utd’s way in the last decade compared to how many have gone against? Your answer will be quite telling, I think.
I think he stopped falling when he started crawling, they're both two completely different acts. If you fell over now, then started to crawl once you hit the ground would you consider yourself to still be falling or are you trying to get back up? And I'm not even incensed because it's United, it's just a piss poor decision no matter who that's against.

I really don't know regarding your question to be honest. I don't often feel 'robbed', I think the decisions even themselves out or I can at least see the ref's perspective, and I can't think of a specific example off the top of my head where I feel something has gone against United that was just wrong, especially now VAR is here.

Two gifts of goals is why Arsenal are ahead here. Not sure why VAR didn't look into the two United penalty incidents but was so quick to give Arsenal a penalty.

United defence can't do the basics Maguire or no Maguire so expect at least another goal conceded 2nd half. Are United capable of scoring two goals 2nd half to grab a draw?
This should be ETHs first objective, stop leaking silly goals.

Defensively atrocious, still dont udnerstand Telles and DAlot starting over Shaw/Bissaka....neither can defend whatsoever.

Apart from that, cant really complain, the fight has been there, pressing has been there, I think Ronaldo has shown is class despite all that has happened with an excellent performance so far and Sancho been decent.

Also think we have been unfortuante, dotn care what Peter Walton said, that was a penalty for us and a harsh one against us as he did say.

We can get back into this game but are so poor defensively we could still lose 4 or 5-1
Attacking intent. From the attacking POV, they're doing their role for this game so far.

They're shit overall. No mistaking in that. However, at this building block where there is nothing more to lose, why not

I don't understand the result oriented fixation at this stage. It's not like ETH would change his mind whether CL, EL, ECL or bust for next season.

This is one of the more entertaining half of football of this season. Atrocious defending though.

Liverpool might be the jammiest team in the league, but god knows Arsenal are the jammiest team on earth when they play us. Every fecking time.
