Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

Clear hand ball but Peter Walton says he can't see the clear evidence

Why have him in as an expert if he can't see beyond his bias when English teams are involved? Ludicrous.
He literally dribbled the ball like a basketball

Proper European night, wish we didn't feck that up :(
Real should be happy they've made it this far.

If Alonso laid it off to another player it would've counted

Or that's what they said about the Middlesborough goal.
Such a dopey fecking rule. Might be the maddest of all of the new VAR loophole things we’ve seen the past few years.

Believe so, unless it is intentional handball which wasn't the case here.

It's a bit of a weird rule but I do get it to some extent. There's the balance between how far back do you go back without nitpicking. Maybe it should be also include the player that made assist or final action and the goal scorer?

It's a bit of a farce that that goal gets disallowed, but that Middlesbrough goal was perfectly fine  (it wasn't of course)

Only half an hour to go, and both ties are even at the moment. Interesting night to watch

that is one rule i think is right....you shouldn't be allowed to "control" a ball with your hand intentional or not that led directly to a goal
It was the right call, the ball would have kept bouncing to his right if his hand didn't slightly stop its trajectory and he wouldn't have had an immediate volley.

They’re not consistent but what I’d give for us to be able to turn it on like Chelsea often do.

If Pogba gave half the shit that Rudiger seems to then it might be possible. Both players are refusing new deals and probably leaving in the summer, only one looks arsed.

Honestly, I would really take him on a free if he still chooses to turn the page. He's not the flashiest, but he will do the dirty work for ya.
Puts in monster performances in big games. Who was the last player to do that for us?

To a man we always looks lost.

Wingbacks should really be our priority in the summer

Also i'm tired of kante

Rudiger is some player. Is he still available on a free at the end of the season? We should be making him an offer he can't refuse.

What's those weird alarm sounds coming from the stadium in Madrid? Or is it just my broadcast?

When's the last time we dominated a big European team in the Champions League like this? Juventus in 98/99?

I’d rather have John McGinn in a big game than Pogba.
