Champions League Quarter Finals (5th - 13th Apr)

PSG collapses to Real, then Real collapses to Chelsea, Chelsea winning 1st leg in semis before collapsing in 2nd leg confirmed.

Feck me. Does every thread really need to be full of self flagellation?
It's a genuine question. Even at our best, I don't remember us putting in a performance against a big European team like this. This has been some performance from Chelsea.

carlo just gonna let them olds go for 90 and not make any offensive changes huh

Chelsea have been very good, but I feel like Madrid have also been really shit

shame we were the other english side in the tournament. we could have been looking at an all english semi. just like i am now.

Werner has been really good. Chelsea messed up by signing Lukaku and benching Werner, he's a much better fit for this team.

Probably, I can’t remember it once and I’m 28. We haven’t beaten any big European teams in a European ko since Barca in 2008. I don’t count perennial bottlers PSG.
:wenger: Both Milan teams. But maybe they are not big enough for you.

It has to be said, Tuchel is bloody immense in this competition.

Real tonight is like watching United.

Pathetic.

Madrid tactics were to play for a 0-0 game and had no other game plan, even at 2 nill down

Brilliant. We’re at our lowest point in 25 years and three English teams are 1 2 3 in the world.

Every time we’ve played Madrid they’ve been insane. Why can’t we ever get the shit-the-bed Madrid lite version?

Real Madrid are a shadow of their usual selves. And we’ve tonked big teams in Europe a hell of a lot more recently than ‘98 ffs. But, as I said, let’s not make every fecking thread on this website about how shit Manchester United is.
