He isn't. He's had a shambolic start to the season but he's a good player and was one of England's best players at the Euros, generally he's been a solid, reliable player for us since he joined. He just got made captain when he doesn't seem like captain material and his price tag was massively inflated, admittedly due to poor planning on our part, which has put a huge target on his back.
