I thought you need ID proof if you ask for a name that is the same as a football player
Yup need to show your passport and they need a 2 day waiting period to check it’s authenticity. Then they do a background check to see if you really are a fan. Then they will run your credit check to see if you can pay all before you get your jersey

The bitterness of Keown. He hasn't even got his facts right. Sanchez would've earned a massive signing on fee if he'd waited until the summer for City too. City didn't show the right commitment I'm afraid. The United of old hated by so many are back again people.

I can't believe the disrespect towards Jose in this whole saga. Mourinho is one of the best managers in the game with a winning record that no other current manager can match. Saying Sanchez will improve his football under Pep and not under Jose is a disgrace. The media's bias towards Pep and City is so blatant.

is it? are thier any players in the premer league who basic wage is 350k a week?
prem is not be all end all. how much do you think messi, ron, neymar, bale are on? iirc ibra was reportedly on £350k last year before taking a pay cut for this season, then there's the fellas in china.

Who remembers that pic of a random Barca fan sitting in McDonalds with Ronaldo 7 on the back of his Barca shirt?
I might go get Griezmann 9 and see if it goes viral

Keown is such a shit character.
He and Jamie Redknapp are the only two pundits who behaviourally cannot disguise their dislike for anything Manchester United. Redknapp actually twitches when he has to talk about us, though that could be the classical business of son resembling father more as he ages.

BBC should sack Keown. Not because of this, obviously, but because he's a shit pundit and a constant reminder that human evolution is an ongoing process.

So he does serve an educational purpose.

Not if he gets a 20m signing bonus. That's insane.
You'll always see huge signing on fees when a player is leaving on a free transfer.

We're essentially signing a world class attacker, in this current market environment, for 20m + some expensive agent fees. That's great business whatever way you want to look at it.

It was widely reported that City had offered him 15m signing on fee now (with another 20m going to Arsenal), or 30m if he waited until the summer and came for free. Nobody was kicking off at City for that so not sure why we're being criticised for striking a similar deal now?

When all is said and done...

Arsenal :lol::lol::lol::lol:

What an absolute shambles it is for them. RVP and now Sanchez to Manchester United.
Not the same though. RvP had a contract, was in middle of his best ever form for Arsenal. Sanchez had already made it clear he was off in summer anyways.

You do know that if and when this transfer goes through that if Mhki has a bang average game for Arsenal the media will say how he controlled the game and that he’s world class and that when Sanchez nets a hatrick for us the press will say he’s not the footballer he was and he’d of played a lot better for Pep.

well i wouldnt put Sanchez in the same bracket as ronaldo messi and neymar.

but no the premier league isnt the begging or end all, but where still talking about giving some one a wage that seems to be vastly above any one else in the league in what is easly the richest league in the world.

Id say that is significant and worth at least pause for thought

Keown what an idiot.

"Won't get as good a deal in summer as now"

Of course he would. He could demand the transfer fee equivalent to be paid to him.

Contract situation doesn't matter. Point is, you should never sell your best players to your rivals. If we sold Pogba to Arsenal (lol!) when he was in the last few months of his contract, I'd be furious.

Taking a thread off topic
He was leaving Arsenal to join Pep and his merry City band on their crusade to win trophies while playing free-flowing football from another planet, now if he signs for United he has sold his soul to the devil and is a greedy money-grabbing mercenary and a lot worse, by all accounts.
Obviously, even if City had offered him more money than United it would still have been the appeal of playing for Pep and his team of white knights that would have swayed him to go there, rather than the money.
It is becoming a bit dull reading this sort of outraged commentary from the likes of Martin Keown and the media in general.
It can't possibly be that he recognises the chance to go to United and help take them to a higher level and become the dominant team in England again, can it ?
Dare I say it, the media detractors are a bit like the 'remainers' in that their perceived power and selfrighteousness has no bounds. I never did like Martin Keown, he was a thug in his playing days so him and Linaker, another, who is too big for his boots should show some maturity and self restraint in their biased hatred piffle.

Keown spouting shit as usual. If he was a mercenary, then he'd wait until the summer and then HE'D get Mkhitaryan, instead of Arsenal.

But we're not signing him on a free. Arsenal are getting Mkhi who's worth 25m.

Giving the agent 10m is even more insane. Why do the clubs or Sanchez go along with that? That's money that could have gone to them.

It doesn't work that way. If the player has decided not to extend his contract and leave in summer for free, then it is better to get some money out of the deal. It is a different thing if both the teams are in a title race, in that case probably you would rather keep the player, rather than strengthen the rivals. But that is not the case here.
