When is Mourinho's press conference?

Those tweets of Alexis and Mkhi in training goes seem to suggest we are not going to get the medical done today..

Don't get it myself, if it was that close, why are they still turning up for training. I can't see it being imminent.
Nothing wrong with staying professional until the deal is done. It's all being dealt with by the suits so what else are the players going to do? He can hop on a plane after training and sign tonight if needs be.

No, not Lisbon..Lisburn!
Definite dig.

I can't believe the degree to which certain clubs essentially turning on cheat-mode has been ignored by the media. I remember when City were initially making their huge investments (before the won anything) there was a definite air of disdain towards them from parts of the media. Since they started winning, no-one seems to question the fact they're owned by a state, or that they broker the world's dodgiest sponsorship deals. Also, that the group that owns them are trying establish football clubs everywhere - how is this not spoken about?? Wenger comes from a time where football was't reliant on billionaire, sole-club owners. I know it sounds hypocritical to bring this up as we were cock of the walk then, but we were up there because the football club, since Fergie's arrival, was run incredibly well, and to that specific end-point. When we sign Sanchez, and everyone in the media questions the price, it's because of decades of success, planning, and running a business well. In other words, earned.
The media have put their fingers in their ears and are going la-la-la-la-la. They just don't want to know. :(

I have a feeling Sanchez was that ominous 4th player all along and Perisic was just a smokescreen. We haven't heard of any sign of being interested in Alexis until like a week ago. We surely had contact in the sunmer with his agents, probably Arsenal pulled out of the deal.

If all is agreed on Sanchez and Mkh's part, then we'll announce it today with ''subject to medical''. Probably be done tonight or tomorrow so we'll have them signed and registered in time.

Hope we stocked up on salt at Carrington incase Mkh changes his mind today.

A question: if Sanchez arrives, would this not reduce Lingard's playing time?
It would be like us buying Harry Kane - Lukaku would not be happy if that happened.
No way is Jose dropping Lingard. Typical Jose kind of player.
Hope he doesn't drop the levels too much anymore.
Hard working and useful even on a bad day.

Sanchez usually plays out wide and Lingard has being playing in the middle recently, it's more likely to reduce Rashford's game time atm.

I wouldn't think so. Alexis would likely play on the right while Lingard will probably continue behind the striker.

OK guys.. I am tired of waiting. I've loaded up FIFA and made the necessary changes. I'm sure it will work out just fine, I never played Mikhi anyway, too weak.
