Right can someone do the maths here? Are we getting a bargain or what?

30million to Arsenal.

? To an agent?

And 400k a week for 4 years is around 83 million.

So thats at least 110 million for a top player including wages. Seems like a good deal.

400k a week will barely scratch the surface for a club who turn the kind of yearly profits that United do.

It's a fecking steal!

The highest net spenders in the world. Yeah OK

I'm being realistic, I'm saying if we bring Sanchez to United for £35 which mean we would be highest net spenders for the 2017-18 season. Barca received 200m for Neymar so they decided to spend most of the money on players totalling 200m all coming from Neymar money and 90m out of their pocket. That doesn't mean they are really super wealthy. The difference is we spent most of the money coming out from our pocket, not player sales. Yet people still think we're so skint and cannot compete with PSG, Chelsea and City. :nervous::o

If Ornstein comes out soon and says it's on ....then the deal is basically done.

That bloke is god-tier for Arsenal. He's even above Di Marzio for their news.

We need a BBC update now.

Why are you even including wages?

Do you call VVD a £75m signing?
Or do you call him a £114m signing? (£150k per week for 5 years).

I hope any deal does not involve Martial or Mkhitaryan. (Hope it's Mhki if so) I can see both being fantastic at Arsenal. Mkhitaryan is nothing like Welbeck, who I doubt anyone misses to be honest. Mkhitaryan can revive his career and be a fantastic player for Arsenal. I think he'll suit their style a lot more. - Could end up in a situation where we end up improving them. I rather sell Micky back to Dortmund.

Getting Sanchez for £30m frees some serious money for other positions.

We are basically saving £50m on the Griezmann deal.

Hopefully Alex-Sandro, Savic and a utility midfielder

Because clubs take in consideration players wages more than the transfer fee these days.

And essentially, yes, thats the way clubs view the players.

If this is happening I want it announced 1 minute before Pep's pre-match interview. Do it for the culture Woody.

It would a proper Woody thing to do, announce the Sanchez signing right before the City game just so he can show how big our bollocks are.

I just find it bizarre how everyone wants to make the transfer fee sound as huge as possible.

It's a £30m transfer fee, plus apparently a £10m agent fee, which is a steal as Sanchez is probably worth £80m if it wasn't for his Contract situation.

(If it happens)

Sanchez & RVP v Welbeck & Silvestre. I love our "good relationship" with Arsenal.

Been chomping at the bit to show my elation that we might be getting Sanchez, He has always been one of my favourite footballers.
Just imagine, Lukaku, Martial and Sanchez and Rashford, fantastic news if true.

5"5, soft as feck, he is our transfer hero, promoted after Gill resigned he cost us feckin' zero
