Let's not forget perhaps the greatest passage in the book of Kopites lads. 26, 1-40

1] THEN the twenty years of plenty came to an end, and twenty years of famine set in. 21 The land was barren, and nothing flourished, and no gloty came upon the Kopites. 3] And the Kopites saw the glory of their neighbours to the east, the Devil-Worshippers, and they saw the wealth of the Philistines in the south, who were Muscovites from the house of Chav. 4] Then the Kopites suffered bitterly, and grievously did they pity themselves. 5] And the people came unto the Lord, wailing and rending their garments, which were made from shells. 6] And the Lott said, "Why are you come before me, ctying and wailing? Wherefore do you rend your garments that are made from shells?" 7] And the people cried, "Behold, 0 Lott, we suffer bitterly, like. 8] For Thou hast brought wealth upon the Philistines, and glory to the Devil-Worshippers up the mad; but in Thy anger Thou hast forsaken us Kopites, what were once blessed in Thy sight and that." 9] But the Lord replied, "IIow is it that have I have forsaken you, when I have pouted such bounty upon your heads?" 10] But the people looked about them and saw no riches, nor the shining trophies of battle. And they protested unto the Lord, "Where is this bounty then, 0 Lord, of which Thou fuchen speakest?" 11] And the Lord replied, "Yea, the bounty of the Lord is as the rain, that is drained into the sands of the desert. For it is all gone on the likes of Bruno Cheyrou." 12] But the people wept, and they no longer had faith in the Lord, and banished him from their sight. 13] And the Lord went from that place, and two new Lords came from far away in the West. 14] And the new Lords said that They would lead the people to salvation. 15] Then the people bent over before them, and were overjoyed, and they raised their voices in praise, saying, "We're proper sorted now, la. We're gonna win the league." 16] Now it had come to pass in this time that they greatly exalted the prophet Raphael, who was their leader. 17] For under his rule they fought a battle of many nations, and in the land of Lud they strove against the Berlusconians. 18] And lo, though they were almost destroyed, they fought back and vanquished the enemy, thanks to Stevie G. 19] Then the Kopites made an idol of Raphael, and cried out that he was the saviour, and by his mighty sword they would come forth from the land. 20] But in the end they came fifth. 21] When they saw that the might of the Kopites was nigh restored, all the tribes trembled. 22] But the King of the Devil-Worshippers did not tremble: he was crafty, and in his wisdom he sent a madness upon Raphael. 23] Then Raphael became as a man who dreams, speaking in tongues and seeing visions. 24] And he squandered the wealth of the people on lame and useless servants. 25] For he brought to their camp men such as El Zhar and Ngog, Degen and Bar-Ragan. And he brought Yossi the Israelite, who had settled west of the land of Ham; and Babel, in whose name men built a tower. 26] And he brought many, many more. 27] And soon Raphael feared to venture forth, lest he be vanquished, but exhorted his servants only to defend the camp. 28] Then all the tribes came to loathe the Kopites, because they were so boring. 291 So the people came before the two Lords and said, "Why don't Ye giz some ackers to Raphael, that he may bring further glory to the people?' 301 And the Lords replied, "Behold, we have given him millions and millions of shekels. But in his madness, he spent it on Glen the son of John, and Aquilani the Roman. And lo, he squandered it on Josetni. Now the bounty of the Lords is gone, for he hath spunked it on absolute garbage." 311 But the people were not satisfied, and they wrote screeds of righteous indignation, and kept saying things about 'net spend'. 32] So the Lords cast out Raphael, and sent for the prophet Roy, renowned for his steady hand and his outstretched arm and his good relations with the press. 33] But the people were in mourning for Raphael: they loved him greatly and pitied him. And they did pity also themselves. 34] For they were blind to his madness, seeing only his triumph against the 13erlusconians years before. 35] And Roy was an old man, and the Kopites lost countless battles. 36] And the people went berserk, and threatened to come into the house of the Lords and do Them harm. 371 And it came to pass that They were skint, and soon the moneylenders drove Them from the temple. 38] And so yet another Lord came among the Kopites, and he sacrificed Roy and sent for the old King who had lead the Kopites a full score years before. 39] Then the people rejoiced, and cried, "Right, this time we are pure fuchen sorted, la. We're gonna win the league." 40] And them was laughter across the land.

This needs to be on every page of the thread.

"Now the bounty of the Lords is gone, for he hath spunked it on absolute garbage."

Was reading the Everton thread on rawk yesterday before the Lukaku to United news broke, they were all saying what a top player he is and how much Everton are going to struggle to make top 10 without him when he goes to Chelsea.
5 minutes after the news broke they were all taking the piss out of us buying him because he was so shit, scousers gonna be scousers..

They're fecking idiots. You either think a player is good or you don't, it shouldn't matter what club they're at tbh, but no, they're so deluded that even Messi and Neymar would be shit if they joined us.

I demand access to the secret Liverpool threads.
Have you ever been to RedCafe? They've got about four or five active threads on Liverpool/Klopp/RAWK alone!
Thank feckin god that they're the ones obsessed not us......
I just checked out a few pages including the general transfer thread and the Keita thread. All about the yerunited.

Steve, you're slacking mate. Where are the reactions to RB Leipzig telling them to do one wrt to Naby Kieta?

Anyways, I found some reaction on r/soccer. First and foremost you have a Liverpool fan saying it's absurd how much pulling power Klopp has that the players like Van Dijk and Naby Kieta want to play for him, it's the top post in this thread. Further responses talk about Klopp being a blessing, he's so charismatic and other nonsense

FootballCustomer

I know we 'only' signed Salah so far and I expected us to do better on the transfer market with top 4, but the absolute drawing power Klopp has is just absurd. First VVD and now Keita seem very eager to join us and nobody else. Klopp truly is a blessing for the club

koptimism

We're not used to it, we haven't really had this pulling power in Europe because of our manager since Rafa. Klopp's is arguably even higher because he's so damn charismatic.

dy_stop_plz

We kept hiring lower-middle table managers, not a Champions league finalist/ Bundesliga winning/Lovable Bear Hugging manager

lil_poopie

If Naby Keita comes in, that midfield is going to be something else. Coutinho, Wijnaldum, Keita, Henderson/Can; with Mane and Salah on the wings. Whoever starts up front is going to have no problem getting 15+ goals.

iamtasteless

The stats that Keita posts are abnormal. Super abnormal. He's outstanding at both attacking and defending, better than most midfielders, even those who specialise as an attacking midfielder or a defensive midfielder. Nobody just does that at 22. IMO, he's a one in a generation talent (from all I've read and seen of him), and with the lack of competition for his signature right now, Liverpool would be stupid not to get him. Our midfield could be improved, defence is just more pressing, but I'd take both a top class CB and Keita, which it seems like FSG are willing to stump up for.

Then, this is the thread where RB Leipzig told them Kieta is not for sale. I admit the top post is rather funny.

Maybe we'll believe that we won't get Keita, but I refuse to buy into this mob mentality of "the PL can't take our best players" from some Bundesliga fans. I've never seen so many people who apparently hate Leipzig get behind them so fast as I did in this saga.

On signing Keita(?):

It's like dealing with a female, no matter what she says, if you make your move in a cool way - you get what you want.

The poster was heavily criticised, with one person writing "Shouldn't you be in prison?"

 I mean. I think (hope) I kind of know what the guy means. I'm sure everyone has been in a situation where a person you like is being coy and playing hard to get because they want to see how much you like them but he could have worded it so much better.

This is his rubbish response to being criticised:

So, you don't know how the psychology works. Anybody who has 2 decades of experience in this would know exactly what I'm talking about. What people say is not exactly how they feel... and it's more true with females... therefore the obvious metaphor.

So what people say it is not how they feel....and it is more true with females???

Hmm, the words I would like to say to that guy are not in english dictionary.

One in a generation talent? Liverpool fans have a way of overrating players/managers in ways only heard of in myth.

RAWK Legend Andy ♥ Old Trafford seems to be only communicating using GIFs & pictures these days. And with 10 in a row, mainly to himself,it would seem. Not living with his Mum anymore though.

There's a picture accompanies this but I couldn't be bothered, tbh. #APLT

This table shows the alternative premier league view of where our par 1 fixtures fall. The clear noticeable gap in the middle of the season between boxing day and mid February is where we will likely see a drop in our APLT standing with a run of several Par 3s. We will therefore need to be in good standing come christmas to put in a challenge as unless we have a perfect run of games we will come out of the period on the back of a slump in that particular table.

Another notable feature of the season is run of the home games from mid Feb onwards in the season where there are no significant challenges. This will mean to have a good season we will need a near faultless record at home for the final 6 home games whilst at the same time dealing with tough away games almost every other week with Southampton, Man Utd, Crystal Palace, Everton, Chelsea and West Brom. This is likely to be where we will see rotation and squad depth come in to play especially if we are still in Europe, as we go week to week with different challenges. Our experience of the run in this year where we excelled in our away games could pay dividends.
