It is quite amazing how far they’ve come from the abysmal displays week in, week out during the first half of the season. Not that they’ve been brilliant tonight or anything, but they’ve fought pretty damn well against Atlético. Not created as much, but still.
They look up for the fight now.

Today Barsa are coming to Coruña. Depor have improved with Pepe Mel who brought back to the team to the local players,Mosquera and Bergantiños, perhaps to give some "blood" to the team or simply to get the support of the dressing room.
Hopefully we can give some fight but being realistic I would be happy if we don't get 5 or 6

Heavy rain falling down in San Sebastian. Great atmosphere to play a derby :D
1-0 Bilbao at HT.
2-0 Williams! It would be a massive result for Atletico!
Real Sociedad almost pull one back immediately. Very close header.
Aduriz on. More goals are coming now for Bilbao.
Bilbao hit the post!
2-0 Bilbao FT. Great win for them. Deportivo-Barca next.

Depor also played in midweek, a last-minute draw with at home against Betis, so they won't have the element of freshness. And you're missing, I believe, Andone and Mosquera through suspension?

A lot will depend on Lucho's lineup. Does he rest one or two of Neymar/Suárez ? While Messi has been the best player by a mile this season, in the last couple of weeks (or even months) Neymar has been more important for Barça in a creative and playmaking sense. He's dribbling more and more (although he does tend to get caught up in it sometimes), he's assisting loads of goals. And that game against PSG must have given him back confidence in front of goal. On the other hand, I'd assume he can use a rest as well after the intensity and high level of his performances recently.

I didn't know about Mosquera and Andone today :( and Sidnei and Guilherme either.
I mean that with Garitano Mosquera wasn't a protagonist while Pepe Mel(according to local radio) said that Mosquera was one of the best midfielders of la liga(yes, too much).
Barsa are in a great moment, with or without resting players I think that will keep the distance with Madrid until clásico

No Neymar today, no Rafinha either. Sucks for us who are big fans of Neymar. And no Andone either?:( That certainly decreases the hopes of Deportivo irritate the Barca defence with counter attacks.

Have you seen Arda this season playing in Neymar's place? Surely he's not as good as Ney but he's been great too

I have not followed Arda closely. I am just a big fan of Neymar. Neymar and Thomas Muller are my absolute favourite players, of those who are still active.

Yeah, it'll be an interesting match. The Riazor is never easy to play at and Pepe Mel has a knack for getting heroic performances out of his teams - plus, after the high of Barcelona's miraculous comeback it's inevitable that a dropoff is to be expected.

Of course, they've been playing well of late

Now that's a wild variation in style
Haha, maybe. I guess I like how Muller is not best at anything, but he is really good at everything (except for taking penalties). He is like the everyday man, but with hidden super powers. I guess it all comes down to how well he reads the game.

And I like how Neymar can cope with carrying the pressure in Brazil, he is charismatic on the pitch, usually very efficient with his dribbling, and he is really good in making his teammates better/in helping them. For me, who don't like Barca at all, I always feel conflicted when he scores for Barca.

Get in! If Depor does us a favour I'm taking the next flight to Coruña to kiss you @carvajal.
If Real Madrid wins the league, provided if City, Sevilla, Juventus, Atletico Madrid progress to the next round of the Champions League and Arsenal get top 4, I will fly to Spain to kiss you too.
