Sepp's raging at not making the cut.

As for Misael, well he's just glad he's not going to have the piss ripped out of him like his former team-mate and back-post photo-poser Luis Eyzaguirre.

Enigma87/RedTiger - PASS
Joga Bonito - FAIL (Misael Escuti)
Tuppet - FAIL (Player already picked)
Isotope - FAIL (Sepp Maier)
Edgar/ctp - FAIL (Player already picked)
Invictus/KM - FAIL (Misael Escuti)
Marty1968/bleezy - FAIL (Sepp Maier)
MJJ - PASS

Well figures who the picked Italian is then... I'm pretty satisfied with our pick, especially in the turn of events. Too bad Matthaus is blocked, would have been perfect alongside Redondo. :(

I'd say the two lads both thought they were safe with Escuti. That's a tough break.

Some steals there as well. Zidane, Laudrup and Xavi in particular.

Completely missed Zidane and Laudrup too, didn't realise they turned eligible during the tournament. Brilliant picks.

I salute you for picking him. I hope you sell him well in this draft.
He fits the Philosophy - very much so.

I picked him once before, but didn't get to deploy him properly (bit out of position, or shoehorned, or whathaveya).

Only realized ZZ was available after the comments in the thread. Missed Laudrup completely. Great bit of research I did

I took a chance with Zidane as I assumed most people would have used the Wiki squads and that listed him as Age 33.

That was my reasoning when I suggested him to EAP. Block would have been really bad though, as the French pool was crap apart from Zidane and Thuram.

Balls on Joga to pick Thuram there!
I thought that would be one of the obvious picks in the circumstances in round 3, the conversation a few pages ago made it quite clear that Zidane & Xavi were gone but I kind of assumed that Thuram and Hierro were both available.

So Joga got the good one and Invictus/KM got really unlucky going for the other.

For me that was the most obvious pick to be fair - Cal? with ZZ. I told @RedTiger as soon as I saw the criteria.:lol:

Very good picks this round, @Cal? lMO is a clear winner with @mazhar13 and @Joga Bonito after him.

I was really surprised EAP didn't go for English player. I mean really surprised. :annoyed:
