One of Italy's highly touted young CBs. Currently owned by Juventus.

I'm pleased to see that we are in for a lot of talented youngsters.

Now that we need an attacker, we're buying a defender. Good one Louis

I suppose we could do with both anyway..

I bought him once on Football Manager.

I then sold him a few years later, but implemented a buy back clause because I thought he had something. He went on to become a very very good centre back, but I passed on buying him back, because he was just short of being top-level. I absolve myself of any blame for you wasting time reading this far.

So what's it going to be? We need one or not.

Not sure why you criticise LVG then say we need both.

Agreed, we only have one more transfer left in this Sun Dream Team window and we are bringing in a defender, doesn't Van Gaal know how to play the football?

Clearly because purchasing a winger/attacker should be prioritised over a defender at this moment in time.

Hard to imagine Juventus letting him go considering his talent. Very intelligent centre-half with good passing.

They're not playing him at all, so it isn't impossible. Getting him before he's made a name for himself would be a good idea if our scouts and Van Gaal are convinced of his talent and ability.

Always excited to see the club linked to top young prospects. No reason we cannot buy a winger in addition to a CB.

Please sign him. Rugani and Romagnoli are the best Italian defensive talents in so many years. Some Italians even think they'll bring about a defensive renaissance, like the days or Nesta and Cannavaro - where the defenders weren't just strong or good at defending; but also intelligent, composed and perceptive in a natural way in terms of their game reading ability, which really set Italian defenders apart in terms of overall quality. There have been some really good, young Serie B players in recent seasons who made the leap in terms of quality. That includes the likes of Verratti, Insigne, Berardi who won the Serie B Player of the Year Award like Rugani, which is special accomplishment because he's a defender unlike them, and the position does not receive a lot of individual acclaim, even in Italy. Dunno why Juventus aren't giving him any chances when he was brilliant for Empoli last season. They've uncharacteristically taken some really weird decisions in the last season or so. Sending Berardi away, not signing good replacements for Pirlo and Vidal, loaning Coman with a buyout clause, not buying Darmian.

You should have developed him better. I think it was fm14 or even fm13 when i bought him and developed him into a world class defender. I hope you liked the read.

No way he's fecking class on FM.I bought him when he's 22-23,played him for 2 seasons then sold him to PSG for 60 mil (he's one of my best defenders but I wanted a squad full of home-growns)

Do we need another CB? Would only make sense if he's left footed.. already have Smalling, Jones and McNair who are right footed

What's LVG priority list look like, out of interest?
1. Klaas-jan huntelaar
2. Nigel De Jong
3. Ron Vlaar
4. Jessica Alba

Ah the old can only sign one player at a time. A real stickler.

Ah. The old rule where you can only process one bid at a time.
Get a room

That's it. Our entire global scouting network can only focus on one player at a time.

EDIT: Quoted the wrong person. Ignore me bucky.
