We seemed to have Blind down as a backup option and signed him after failing to sign other targets. I don't think Depay will be happy to wait given the club's in for him already. He's a young player too, so will want to go to a club that are keen to have him as he knows he will get a fair crack of the whip. The way we seem to be approaching this gives out the exact opposite message.
Which coach in the PL will improve his decision making, his tactical and technical abilities? The PL isn't great to develop players.
I'd like to see him at Swansea.
Everton, Swansea, Southampton and maybe Aston Villa would be good for Januzaj. If not those clubs, then send him to a foreign club. Going to a relegation threatened club won't do him much good. I mentioned Aston Villa because Tim Sherwood has given young players an opportunity to play and express themselves.
But he's still pretty particular in what he wants. He has effectively frozen Gil out despite him being a half decent player.
Where is Carles Gil gone? Didn't he scored a stunner on his debut in the FA Cup?
I just think Sherwood is keeping him out of the side for some reason. Bit odd because he's giving Grealish a lot of free roam and licence. Dragging off topic here, though.
This Rémy plus £15m for Lacazette seems very unlikely when Lyon simply won't be able to pay Rémy's £100,000 a week salary. Struggling enough with Gourcuff £80,000 a week plus think he should stay at Lyon for one more season who'll have CL next season in a new stadium with potential to be defending champions. Have heard from several people that Rémy allegedly went out drinking 48 hours before QPR game and is simply being punished for it now and isn't injured.
So some would rather see Januzaj in PL teams like Swansea then in PSV with chance to play CL/EL football gaining xp in Europe... /English young players likes this.

Stupid if true. Costa's out for a bit and he finally gets a decent crack at the first team. Throwing it away like that either shows you're stupid, or you just don't care.
I'd much prefer Januzaj to go to PSV. It's a great club, great coaches, great facilities and along with Ajax have a great mantra of giving youth a chance.

I can't see anything good that would come out of signing Ings. Even as back up which he inevitably (hopefully) would be
Rooney, RVP and Ings with Wilson going on loan would be fine next season.
He's free isn't he? He'd provide cover, maybe develop into someone useful and, if not, definitely get sold on at a profit.
More importantly, it would almost certainly mean we intend to play Rooney as our striker next season, which makes me happy.

We'd owe them compensation due to him developing there and being 22, not sure how much but it'd be a bargain nonetheless.

That's what Ings said in an interview some time ago that he will look for playing time before deciding anything. With RVP's injury record he should be able to play a lot more games.

In fairness those sources are sticking to their story and seem convinced he's our's. The only speculation involving Munich came from two blokes having coffee together.

That said, the actual, real-world, Ings and Clyne tweet is pretty fecking miserable. Especially so after a week of speculation about the likes of Gundogan and Depay. Quite a comedown.
I'd rather buy an exciting young striker to challenge (and get the best out of) Rooney rather than buy a mediocre back up.
