No Ander? Damn. Rafael injured again? Typical.

DeGea, Valencia, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Januzaj, Fellaini, Blind, Rooney, Di Maria RVP. Subs, Lindegaard, Mata, Carrick, Herrera, Fletcher, McNair, Wilson. Wanted Herrera in there.

Would have started Herrera over Adnan.

Gutted for Rafael. Hopefully it's just a knock. We need some proper cover and competition for him desperately.

I'm surprised Herrera hasn't come in for Januzaj. Will be interesting what formation we play and where Di Maria starts from.

    rafa is so fecking useless

sell him and get a better and a more reliable RB

Nasri, Aguero, Navas will eat Valencia alive. Poor lad :(

Hart, Zabaleta, Kolarov, Demichelis, Kompany, Fernando, Toure, Navas, Milner, Jovetic, Aguero.

Fellaini shouldnt be starting, his "form", while OK, has been really exaggerated because people sympathise with him.

Valencia has done ok at right back but this will be a huge test for him, given that not sure I get why we didn't play Herrera or Carrick to give us more protection at the back. It's a pretty bold attacking line up, just hope we keep enough of the ball to stop our defence being exposed.

How intense are our sessions the day before a game? Seem to gain injuries after LVG press conference on Fridays.

    Smaling is playing.

    No Rafa :(
Point still stands. He'll be injured in a few weeks time. Our whole defence needs a shake up. It's not like they're doing such a great job either.

Di Maria at wing again? That better not be a long term plan as he is our best player and shouldn't be shifted around.

Valencia at right back is terrible.

It looks like a 4231/433, with Januzaj and Di Maria on the wings and Rooney in the hole. We look more stable with only one stiker, but it comes at the cost of limiting Di Maria.

I'm disappointed that Mangala is not playing - was hoping for a cock up from him. Oh well, Di Maria will hopefully be licking his lips at the prospect of coming up against a monumentally slow Demichelis.

Rafael injured on Thursday but LVG kept it quiet in his press conference.

Is Dani Alves available in Jan?
Just sign him up please, or any competent right back that isn't made of glass
    ffs.

Seriously why didnt we hear anything about Rafael being out. Also Adnan 3 start without doing much is not great. Yeah i could see us being really smashed now. Aguero is going to get a easy day with our defence.

Happy to see januzaj picked again. That's two big games he is starting in. Those that were saying LVG doesn't rate him has egg on there faces.

Our training sessions must include players kicking each other in the legs until someone drops. How do injuries happen so frequently?

    City dropped Mangala..damn
Valencia at right back..i dont like that.
