Needs to be a thread for this. What are everyone's thoughts?
Every year seems to bring the same predictions, but they always ring true:
- Ireland: last chance for some of the golden generation.
- Italy: improving every year, but will probably come last.
- Wales: poor in autumn internationals, but if they string a couple of wins together....
- Scotland: could they be this year's dark horses?
- England: massive strength in depth, so never write them off.
- France: wooden spoon last year and only beaten Tonga since, so they'll probably win it.
I think the following are out: Dusuatoir, Fritz, Clerc, Parra, O'Brien, Reddan, Earls, Zebo (?), Ryan Jones, Ian Evans, Matthew Rees, Jenkins (?), Corbisiero (?), Tuilagi (?).
