Zidane Iqbal | Utrecht watch

Don’t know, didn’t watch. He played just 10 minutes.

Came on for the last few minutes. Utrecht scored the 3-1 while he was on but he didnt have anything to do with it.

Utrecht was a mess, fired their manager but now hired Ron Jans. Ron Jans is an excellent manager for Eredivisie teams so hopefully he can help Iqbal to show why Redcaf went crazy because of his sale.

Seems like he’s slowly starting to get regular minutes after the early season injury issues. Out of the last nine matches he’s recently been available for, he’s played in eight. Sure it’s only been two starts and the rest coming on as a sub but at least it shows a certain level of trust from the coaching staff, throwing him on the pitch in the fight for playoff spots.

Important to keep in mind that he has missed a half a season because of injury. Our academy guys and 1st team suffer a lot from injuries, maybe we need to review our medical department as well.

How the feck has he put it over from there? That's some Chelsea forward finishing.

Should’ve scored but his body shape was a bit off when he was reaching for the ball. Perhaps the defender approaching with a sliding tackle played a part too.

00:50

This was against the Philippines but he’s a fun player to watch regardless.

Glad to hear he's started to kick on a bit over in Holland. Still think it was the right decision for everyone to move him on.

I'm impressed that someone has managed to take their time to do a player compilation from a match between Iraq and Philippines

Shame he hasn't been involved much. Utrecht seem to be having a great season so far.
