You missed Lingard. Mutv think that Petrucci is up front with Keane, with Ajose and Morrison on the wings.

I think that would be the case. Morrison on the right with Ajose on the left.

Petrucci tucked in behind Keane.

Quite possibly. But wasn't he playing centre-mid. In which case, The Pog is there now and I don't think he would get in ahead of him.
 
Nope, it was really odd though. McGinty (I think) crossed a free kick in from the right hand side about midway through their half.

All our players and theirs were lined up, Pogba had the sense on him to peel away and he was completely unmarked at the back post to glance it in... odd goal.

Their manager must be fuming. Sounds a terrible goal to conceed. Its not like you can miss the Pog!.

Its a good thing. It should help settle us down.
 
It really was one of the oddest goals I've ever seen. I don't think words can really explain it... they all lined up (Arthur Albiston described it best when he said it was like a Rugby line-out) and then he just peeled off.

We've really come out going for it.

Thorpe looks hurt though, his knee didn't look right there.

Let's hope so. Bit boring playing in front of 4 people, even if they are distinguished. Did Thorpe come off?
