Ah here - Ineos are only in the door. We shouldn’t be heaping this amount of pressure on them.
 
Just clocked that the semi finalists of the 2 competitions will probably have a bit of an extended break so probably won't be match fit to start the community shield and probably not Fulham either.
 
I get the feeling some of you are not taking this seriously

At the moment, I think that's what we're looking at. I'm assuming Garnacho will be called up for the Olympics, and guessing Mainoo might be rested having played the whole Euros as a teenager.

Exactly, our best player and we need to make sure we think of the bigger picture. Let him fully recover from the season thats been and dont rush him through his preseason fitness training because we want to have the best chance of avoiding injury.

For me, Zirkzee is an excellent first bench option. Not only will he give us threat off the bench, but he’ll also give us a lot of tactical flexibility in either letting us play 2 up top and go route one or move Højlund out to the right to utilise his pace and energy.

Otherwise, whether we choose Yoro or Branthwaite as our 2nd CB signing, neither are anywhere near Martinez’s level or De Ligt’s experience yet, so I’d be inclined to let them learn to begin with. Picking 2/3 from Garnacho, Rashford and Diallo was also complicated, so I just went for the 2 who played excellently in the cup final.

The rest of the team picks itself I think, including Ugarte as he’s the only DM we’ve really been linked to.

It's truly bizarre discussing a realistic XI when you've included players not signed to the club.

It's far too early for this discussion imo.

I see a lot of people saying Hojlund but he's no where near good enough. Hopefully will fullfil potential. I'd like Neves in as well and Eze to replace Rashford.

-I can't see Zirkzee starting ahead of Hojlund very often, if ever
-Nacho might be playing in the Olympics, and if that's the case I don't think he'll be straight back in for us
-Even if we sign de Ligt and Ugarte, I doubt they'll be straight into the first eleven
-Sancho allegedly made nice with the boss, so I think ETH will extend the olive branch and put him out there

Not sure this has ever happened for a non injured player after a tournament.
