As is Barca and Bayern.
Barca failed to sign a centre back they desperately wanted in the summer because the money wasn't there to meet the price asked by clubs. No they invest into their club and are lead by fans.
We're owned by business men who probably doesn't know what football means, hence the no value BS whenever its time to put the hands inside the pocket and spend rather then just cash in.

We spunked 28 million on a player with a 23 million release clause.. Clearly we invest, just not well.
And I'm not sure why "knowing him well" is even relevant. Who gives a feck who Sir Alex has had post match wines with. Seriously.
So we don't want to get it wrong twice, so we let the same man make the appointment using the exact same reasons as he did for the first... I can see that ending well.It matters because the club wont want to get it wrong twice, Moyes was seen as the right man cause SAF knew his management style, background and character well, thats not to say our next manager is gonna be Big Sam or Curbishly..but definetly somebody he knows as oppose to Simeone, Klopp or Garcia

Well if I were Chairman, I would honor his contract (all 6 years at least) but under the understanding that we have to at least get 4th this season and finish in the top 3 every season thereafter. I certainly would not sack him mid-season and would only sack him in May if those expectations were not matched.
I'd love a bit of Bielsa. Madcap. I recently read that Llorente described him as "Either a genius, or your worst enemy". Love that. He'd make Di Canio look like a pussycat. He loves graft n'all, defending from the front. Imagine the monumental bollocking he'd give Evra for not tracking back. He'd probably win more touchline bans than titles, but they don't call him "El Loco" for nothing.

Have been saying this for so long. With Pep/Ancelotti/Mourinho/Klopp unavailable he is the best choice right there. I am not saying that he will guarantee success, but he is a terrific coach and we would be playing very well.
I agree. He's as much of a risk as Moyes, IMO. Bielsa's sides have an immediately recognisable identity, but like Moyes, he also lacks a proven winning record. Still, his teams were always fantastic to watch, especially that Chile side. Even when they lost, they were just great to watch. I'm a sucker for high, suicidal pressing. It's not an ideal approach long-term, as players can quickly run out of steam and/or get injured, and you're prone to getting caught on the break, but watching the way Chile and Bilbao just charged at anyone like a game of British Bulldog was just ace, and I'm all about the short-term. feck the future.
He has some medals to be fair. Three league titles on Argentina. A gold medal on olympics games and a few runner up medals. Not great though.
He isn't active all the time and doesn't accept any job. Also has a tendancy to go loko which is a reason why big clubs haven't gone for him. Bottled his biggest job though, they got fecked on 2002 and then lost to a Brasil side on 2004 when they were better. With Chile and Bilbao he was brilliant.
His exciting to watch really. Like a lunatic who is on charge of some lunatics who never stop running and make the life hell for other teams. Regardless how much better the opponents are.
If we were to get rid of him now (not that he will or should), i'd like to see Giggs take over till the end of the season
Terrible idea, replace a manager with no experience of winning with one who has no experience of anything?
3 years without trophies are fine IMO as long as we progress and we qualify regularly for UCL (and at-least by the end of third season we challenge for the title). If we don't win the league on four years - and if we don't do an Arsenal (not spend money) - then I think he has to go. Giving him 6 years just because he qualifies for UCL without winning anything is too much IMO.

Yes the man with all the experience is doing so well...It might as well of been his first season in management.
I've only just noticed that Benitez got 10 votes.
Presumably opposition supporters.I've only just noticed that Benitez got 10 votes.
We jest, but the waiter would have had us in a better position.
Presumably, but you never know, there was a genuine thread in the newbs this summer about whether we should sign Suarez.Presumably opposition supporters.
What I meant was we need to replace him with someone who has experience of WINNING!!
Sad but probably true.
I'm surprised the ABUs haven't started a Keep Moyes at United campaign yet.

We can say whatever we want for the fat Spanish Waiter and hate him for being a Scouser and the facht press but he was a very good manager. He won the Champions, 2 UEFA cups and had two titles with Valencia. He is a much better manager than Moyes.
He also managed to screw up Mourinho's Treble winners much the same way Moyes is screwing up Sir Alex's United side.
That's true. I didn't say he was excellent.
He did a brilliant job at Valencia, a good job on Liverpool, was terrible on Inter, decent at Chelsea and is doing good so far on Napoli. Has some cups and titles. Possibly on top 10 managers around.
