They look really really fit it has to be said. CLosing us down everywhere on the pitch. We look quite unfit still tbh
 
Half way through our friendlies and 2 losses out of 3! Hardly convincing. I don't give a shit how much people say it is pre-season and doesn't matter. This is poor form and should not be acceptable.
 
Don't really care about the result. Was a good run out for the lads - difficult conditions and against a team who's in middle of a season so their condition are sorted.

Impressed by the youngsters again. Everyone else looks a bit "can't be bothered". Typical pre-season mentality.
 
To be fair today holds Moyes' finest achievement as United manager, getting Anderson to play the whole match.

I am worried about the fact that the defense is not doing the basics right, we are losing possession easily and not closing down space properly. We need to have this stuff right before the season starts as we have some tough games coming up. I know these are meaningless friendlies, but thats no excuse for not getting the basics right.

kashima were the same some years ago when they beat united. Super fit. A good workout for the team.
 
Zaha very impressive, adnan done good again. Young looked promising and sharp since coming on. Good hard workout for us tonight. Defending could be better, and game passed Cleverley by, but those just need tweaks really. nothing too concerning.

Zaha impressive, the defending was very poor and needs to improve. The cameraman was a disgrace.

Is it?

We don't usually arse around in pre season, even though there are often draws and losses. This year in particular, I'd be expecting more of an effort from the players given that there is a new manager to impress.

City have also lost two games. It will be us and them fighting it out for that fourth place this season.

Humidity no doubt played a part. That will have been an even better work out than it looked.
