Television X Factor 2010

Cher is clearly going all the way. With lyrics like "bells are ring-a-dinging" and the apparent ability to turn half of her mouth a complete 90 degrees (a technique called the Stallone, I believe), she can't fail.

 That "rap" she did was dreadful.

It hasn't been the best this year and personally I think it's past it's sell by date now, but I do think your man Matt Cardle is the best.

Who?

What was up with that Cher ones rap? It was horrific. She'll probably go all the way though, as she is extremely marketable.

Who are the favourites by the way?

Just checked. Matt Cardle is favourite. Personally, I can't envisage that it will suit them for him to win.

Your one Rebecca is second favourite. I think she is excellent.

I'd be betting on Cher though, at 5/1, but her little tendency to want to be a rapper could wreck that.

I might break the habit of a lifetime and vote.

I really liked Cher on her first audition but I'm bored with her already.

Im going to vote for Matt.
I haven't voted before either.
His voice in the 2nd song sends shivers up me spine :)

Wow, 2:50-3:10 in that song is spine-tinglingly good, with a bit of coaching it would be perfect. He seems like a decent guy too.

First time I've seen that clip.

Impressed he went with the song. That arrangement was for the Leona Lewis cover of the song. Incredibly he even went for the same key and pulled it off. I think he'll need to go easy on the falsetto since the song was a tad over-ambitious, but it was a risk that ultimately paid off.

Rough around the edges, but definitely one to watch out for.

I like Gamu, Rebecca, Matt, and Katie especially the first two...they are really talented.

I watched a bit of this earlier. Car crash TV, fecking hell.

Spill the beans then Muller. PM if you don't want to spoil it for everyone. :)

It was leaked a few days ago, the missus was talking about it with some friends on Thursday.

Poor Cher:(

she's really talented for her age but it just didn't happen for her today

She'll get through on the sympathy vote, or on the strength of her initial audition which kinda makes the judges houses section rather pointless. She should be going home based on that shambles of a performance. She also needs to get a few burgers down her neck or she'll fall down a grid.

I know who gets through too. (apparently.)

Really disappointed that a certain boy didn't get through. fecking Dannii

The only lad I really want to get through is that lad from Blackpool.

I haven't seen tonight's though so dunno how he did.

Other than that i'd like that Paige and the "diva" from Italy.

How many of those went through?

Cher should be nowhere near the live eps. But shes young and half naked. Theres money there.

On the basis on actual ability, likeability and personality, matt should win hands down. So ill be rooting for him, and john, simply because johns from west london, like me :D

For those who do know, let's put spoilers on things eh? Don't want to ruin it for people who don't want to know..

I loved Cher on her first audition, but I find her quite irritating and boring now.

Gamu and Rebecca stand out for the girls.

Why don't they just have Under 30? What's this 28 and under crap?

They said that they changed the age thing to strengthen the boys category but the boys category then was far stronger than the over 28s now.

I agree, the over 28's really weakened by that move, but regardless if all things go to planned and the right people are picked, I think this can go down as the best X factor yet.. I'm usually heavily critical of the past few shows, but this year I've been generally impressed with the vocal talent.

Boys category is good, Matt Cardle.. one quiff haired twat but is a good singer and I liked that young guy they kept calling a boy band singer.

Girl category, Cher was car crash tv and I don't think she has a strong enough voice to handle the live shows, Rebecca and Gamu impressed me alot and are potential winners.

Groups, surprisingly strong and the new girl group they formed were very good, most of them were attractive and could sing, FYD I thought were excellent in that last audition and I would go for the other newly formed group of the boys whose rendition of 'torn' was not bad at all.

As for over 28's its all about Storm.
