WSL fantasy league | 17-19 Jan

I like your explanation. I thought my short term memory had got so bad that I couldn't remember the team names for long enough to spot a (near) duplicate as I scrolled. Your theory is much less disturbing.

Looking forward to our trip to Amarillo Park of course. Tooney's barmy army always enjoy a day out and I always enjoy pies.
I lied. It's senility. Happy Christmas ;)

On a serious note, thank you for all the hard work you put into supporting the women's team and keeping this small chunk of the forum alive and fresh.

So Emma Watson's off to Everton on loan... Anyone know if she'll still count as a United player, or if she'll be in an Everton shirt so I can keep Phallon, Grace and Leah in my team?

I'm pretty sure she will count as an Everton player. Wait for the FF App to update her status.

It's time for you to dust off your teamsheets and get out your calculators.

WSL returns this weekend.

Time for a final rethink. I have Bunny Shaw in but figure she's still not fit as she didn't feature in City's FA Cup game. Still no wiser regarding Grace Clinton's absence - injury? Illness? Personal reasons? Rested?

She was present at LSV, so probably not ill at least.

The first WSL match of the weekend kicks off at 7pm tonight Friday 17 Jan. Whether you're planning an overhaul or need to account for a particular injury like Alex Greenwood's - this is your last chance to juggle.

I think the deadline for transfers and teamsheets is 6pm (UK) or maybe 5pm - I'm not in the UK at the moment so I'm not sure which truth the app is telling

It's telling THE truth. Anyway, I am all set and putting my faith in United - not a single City player in my squad. Foolhardy? Maybe. But I'm here to have fun!

Very much splitting the difference with my team... Chelsea's Ramirez and Arsenal's Russo up front. Is a hat trick each in a 3-3 draw too much to ask?

I'm banking on that too. I'm resigned to losing ground this week though - I am sluggish after the winter break. Especially as I thought Arsenal were playing Palace!

FF Cup Draw

GW11 - Playoffs

Match A: Roboklopp94 v Zebra United
Match B: Liz's Lovely Runners v Dot's Stars
Match C: Skinner's Rotation v United Army
Match D: DemonBarbers v Little moo's
Just a reminder, this round of WSL matches also qualifies as the playoff round of the Demon Cup.

Well, that went well. Apart from Phallon conceeding two that is. Having Terland as vc helped quite a bit, who had Tooney though? Week winning performance!

GW12 - Last 16

Terland and Done v Skinner's Rotation
Maya's Troopers v Mad Hatters
Boujee Tea FC v Scanny's XI
The Phallon D'Or v Tooney Town
Zebra United v They Simi Rollin'
I'm Sorry Nic Jackson v Dot's Stars
Phallon d'Or v Flexo's Fantasy Femmes
Who Knows? v Little moo's

I think this is correct, if it is not then let me know and VAR will have a look at it.

Mad Hatters top-scored this week with a highly respectable 75 points thanks largely to having Toone (40 pts) as captain. That inspired choice sees him climb up to fourth in the table. Phallon d'Or and Dot's Stars also broke the 70+ barrier and climbed up the league.

Credit also to Zebra United (67) who is fighting hard to get out of the relegation zone but Liz's Lovely Runners scored well to maintain her advantage.

It was a good week for Little moo's who smashed TheDemonBarbers out of the cup and climbed up to 8th place at the same time.

It's getting tight at the top, with both Tooney Town and They Simi Rollin' struggling for form. Flexo's Fantasy Femmes capitalised and soared into second place, a mere 18 points off the leader.

FFF had a great weekend.

My regular "safe bets" didn't really deliver points this week - inevitable really with the 4-2 in the derby. But I must admit I hadn't expected Ramirez to only get her appearance points when I choose her as captain of a Chelsea team who won 5-0

Congrats to Mad Hatters on having Tooney as captain. Great work there.

Commiserations to Demon who went out of the Demon Cup but well played to Little Moo's - another manager who took the gamble and picked Ella.

I had four decent scorers - Bright, McCabe, Terland and Russo, and Teri was my VC so that was a bonus with all her assists. I’m sure the goals will flow soon!
Little Moo is my daughter, she does sometimes forget but this week was certainly on it!

Chelsea v Arsenal this week, so there are tough decisions to be made. There's also the question of whether Bunny Shaw will be back. I guess Wednesday will answer that one.

Just on a side note, if anyone has their Triple Captain, Wall or Bench Boost wildcards still available I think we just have to accept that in the Demon Cup.
