In the bleak midwinter, frosty winds made moan.

And if the weather forecast is right we may be getting a dose of midwinter this week. If so, Everton's Walton Hall Park stadium will let you experience it full force.

So, with that disclaimer in mind, let's hope our players are thoroughly warmed up, ready for this match.

We won our group stage opener against Liverpool 2-0. Everton drew 1-1 with Newcastle but got an extra point by winning the penalty shootout. Our final group stage match takes place in December. Only the top team goes through from the group, so a straightforward win would be nice

And yes, we do play Chelsea on Sunday so that may come into play with the team selection.

Match is live on MUTV.

I don't think it's disrespecting Everton or the competition to go for multiple changes for this one - especially with Sunday in mind.

MS:
”I imagine Emma [Watson] playing some part in this game, whether that be from the start or coming into the game. Emma's been waiting a while. Her and Jess [Simpson] - they've been playing games behind the scenes. Obviously been training every day. It's around time that we get to see them. They're probably ready now. I've said this many times because I'm really excited to see what they can do. So it should be good and hopefully we'll see them in this game tomorrow.”

I'll believe it when I see it!!

Is it too soon for Safia to step in, give Phallon a night off?

I’d love that regardless of if we ended up losing because of it. But I think Skinner would’ve mentioned her alongside Watson and Simpson.
