Second place United take on bottom place Crystal Palace. The best defence in WSL v the worst. So, are Palace truly dreadful then? In honestly, not really - I don't often watch them but they've been in some tight games against decent teams and have been unlucky in some. United beat them 1-0 in December, so we should know not to take them for granted.

We've played them three times before, twice in the Championship, once in WSL1 - and we've won all three.

On the face of it, it's a day to boost our GD, but first and foremost it's a day to win three points.

Match is live on MUTV and WSL YouTube.

3 points mist important. Several teams are more up and down this year, and the league is slowly getting tighter. I think if we manage to grind out wins on good team morale and good defence, we could go far this season.

Agree it’s a must win, the final three games can easily scupper a great season, so we have to take the points where we really should here.
Quick aside - I swapped our east stand season tickets to standing for a game in December, no problem. Tried again for this match, and was told only ticket swaps are happening for medical reasons. Managed to plead my way to a swap, but a heads up if this is now policy.

It seems a strange policy - as for a medical reason I'd have said I had piles. Anyway, glad you managed to get sorted. Enjoy the game.

As for the game - this one and the next five we should win. The final three games will be interesting. Looking at the table, only us, Chelsea, Arsenal and City have a positive goal difference, but I want more goals! We beat Palace 1-0 away but it should have been 4 or 5.

Brighton are 5th and still have to play the other three. They could have a big say in how this season pans out.

The most important thing was that we followed up that epic derby with a win, which we did comfortably. The momentum is with us now, we can't afford to let up.

Interesting. I usually try to switch mine to the north stand when I arrive at the ground - never been a problem when the stand is open.

Ooh, noted. The guys at the LSV ticket office have only ever been helpful whenever I have needed them, common sense more often comes from face to face conversations!

I've just managed to switch my seat to standing at the ticket office as normal, no questions asked. If you're here early enough, give it a go!

Looks like Ella on the wing in order to accommodate her, Clinton and Miyazawa in the same line up

I’d really like to see playing all three of Miyazawa, Toone, & Clinton work somehow.

Weakest defence in the league, got to be going for the cricket score to up our goal difference. Can't be doing with another 1-0 like the reverse fixture. Shame to not see Griffiths on the bench after last week's cameo, but who do you leave out? It's a strong, experienced bench.

I think Miyazawa is most effective when she's in the middle, whereas Tooney can be equally effective in either position.

If it were up to me, I'd have Clinton on the wing. No reason to change the midfield of Janssen, Hini, Toone when it's been working so well recently. Whereas, Toone wasn't at her best playing on the wing when she played there at the start of the season (although her dad recently passing away might be the main reason for that). And Toone & Clinton in midfield didn't work at all when we tried it against Villa.

Terland gets an early opener. Poor goal kick by the keeper but it was a good finish by Terland when it came to her. Let’s hope the floodgates open now!

So close to a double for Terland. Great pass by Jansen to start off that attack as well.

Was supposed to be geo blocked outside UK/Ireland (MUTV) but surprisingly it’s on in Finland.

The ref has stopped play after Terland got punched in the back of the head by the keeper, but I don’t think she’s given a foul…

To be fair she got the ball too. Think Onana (which they referred to) just took the player out.

Some players need to liven themselves up, very poor football from United.

Fortunately the Palace player didn’t go down after Jayde’s sliding tackle. Could’ve been easily given. Although it’s very difficult to get a penalty in this league.

We've slowed right down. Too many missed chances to slow down.

Whole team playing like they’ve got concussion since Terland was clattered
I think we have. We just didn't seem to get going after the stoppage.

Improving again now though. Maybe the shock has woken us up.
