A traditional enemy and it's at Anfield. Friday evening is probably not the best bet for pulling a big crowd in, which is a shame, but we'll see.

Head to head - United have won 7 times, Liverpool have won 3. As far as I can tell we've never had a draw with them. Last May they beat us 1-0 which helped them finish ahead of us for the first time since we were promoted to WSL1.

We played them at LSV in December and won 4-0.

Match is live on BBC3.

After watching the way Liverpool handled Arsenal last weekend I'm feeling nervous about this one. It seems to me that we have not fared well in the past against an aggressive press, which is what Liverpool used to completely disrupt Arsenal's offense and force a host of defensive errors. I think they will really put our back line to the test.

Desperately wanted to go to this one as I live near St Helens but they moved this one to Anfield and on a Friday night so can't do it. Just need to win somehow

I'm with you on this. I hope Skinner is as well and plays both Miyazawa and Janssen, presumably sacrificing Clinton. I'm also hoping that Riviere and Terland may be back. Any news on this?

Rivière was apparently a nearly ready for last week so I'm guessing she'll be back.

Terland is a bit different, I believe she's got a broken wrist. If it's stable and she's not in pain, I guess she might be able to play with it splinted but I doubt we'll risk her unless we're confident of avoiding re-injury. I suspect she'd be playing strapped up if it was a Cup Final though!

Thank you. I thought this might well be the case. Mannion has played well, but Rivière has had an outstanding season so far. Malard has also played well in Terland's absence, so it is no major concern. I'd prefer the latter, but let her recover fully.
