WSL 24/25 | Leicester v United - 3pm Sun 17 Nov

Bizet showed very good pace there. I wonder where she ranks for speed in WSL overall, cant be more than a couple faster

I'd bet on Jayde Riviere being faster for a start, otherwise agreed that Bizet is rapid when she wants to be!

2-0... We'll take that. Same old boring Skinner-ball at times, but a win is a win and the defensive shut out lasts another week. I am not looking forward to the Chelsea game next weekend though. We won't lay a glove on them, the best we can hope for I think is another heroic backline performance.

Very nice to see Bizet on the score sheet, Terland adding to her tally as well. Geyse comfortable player of the match for me, the only answer Leicester had was fouling her.

Solid deserved win. Geyse looked good.

I doubt if Chelsea's attackers will be as easy to control though. They certainly won't miss many easy chances and we are giving opponents those.

I'm not sure how we'll line up midweek given how tired some of our play was late on. Ladd seems like an easy option but I wonder who else we'll see start. Hinata maybe - especially if Toone isn't back.

Ah, let's hope that's not one of those injuries that drag on afterwards.

Not the worst time for us to lose her. United haven't got many matches before the Christmas break. Would be good to have her fit and firing in time for the City match in January though.

Shame about Ella. Pretty frequently last season she did something world class and we will miss that. She's having a rough time of it.
Today I thought the pass into the box was often poor after some decent build up play. Anna Sandberg looks handy and Geyse a real handful.
We really need to improve the service to Terland..
Skinner sounding repetitive in the media. Tones from last year about having a new team and it's going to take time which I accept to a point.

Skinner "thought we were excellent" yesterday. I thought we were good in patches but okay overall. Geyse, Terland, Bizet and Riviere were the standouts for me.

It was good to see five subs used and another clean sheet, although Leicester did miss a sitter.

I'm not too concerned about Everton, despite their fully deserved victory over Liverpool! Ha. Shocking penalty decision. But we will have to up our game next Sunday - I hope we do not approach the game thinking a draw is good enough.
