WSL 22/23 | Villa v United - 7:15 on Fri 28 Apr

It’s worrying how it’s becoming a trend where we have to wake up at HT. Remember a few games recently after which you’ve heard the players and/or Skinner mentioning the HT team talk being a bit feisty after a poor first half.

Shite. No goal

That's a bit soft, but it is a block off I suppose.

DDG would never get that decision mind you

Goalkeeper fouled by her own player and our equaliser gets disallowed.

Not sure where the foul was supposed to be there...

Disappointing scoreline but there are more goals to be had here. It would be frustrating to see our season stumble here. Villa are a good team, but we have to do better.

Nah it was our player in front of her, but she didn't really do much (but her intention was to block)
It's Staniforth who bumps into her and makes her collapse on the floor. Galton didn't get chance to obstruct her :smirk:

Absolutely. But if we can’t deal with these challenges, we deserve the league position we’ll have at the end. Biggest 45 minutes of our season ahead.

Giving away a needless corner.

How lucky were we there?

YESSSSSSSSS

Let's get this win!

I swear the quality of crosses in the WSL is so much better than in the PL!

C’mon Keets! If we fail to win this, I have a feeling it won’t be because of our attacking but our defending.

We looking good tonight?

Ah, that was a chance..

It's real end to end stuff now. I've no idea which way this match is going.

Villa have assembled a dangerous frontline, considering they’re even missing Hanson tonight.

I think there's one moal goal in this for United.

Not a great last ten mins from us. Need to up it here

Always the risk when you sub the whole attack at once. I admire the bravery though, might pay off, might not.

But I agree, we’ve been just lumping balls into the box where Villa have 3-4 and we’ve got one.

Oh my goodness! Should have done better there.

Aargh such a great chance for Martha Thomas - looked like she'd already done the hard work.
