...is just 10 hours away.

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker is going to steal the show, but there are some other great matchups:

Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk
Edge vs Chris Jericho
Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon
Randy Orton vs Ted DiBiase vs Cody Rhodes

....and if it eases your mind, "wrestling is fake", etc. I put this in the Entertainment forum, didn't I?

Haven’t watched WWE for a few years. Used to be a big fan. Doesn’t look like a great card

Vince Vs Brett? A few years ago I may well have creamed myself over that. But I can’t imagine anyone cares about that anymore. Is hart wrestling regularly again I thought he was finished for good due to a neck or head injury?

Damn. He was fun to watch. Think they went pc, is when it turned shite.

He was great true, I think it's a mix of the story-lines falling apart because of a few things:

1.) Stone Cold got injuried, then got in trouble with the Police, returned briefly and then retired.
2.) The Rock decided to leave to pursue acting (so in-effect the two biggest stars were gone within a year or two of each other aside from sporadic returns)
3.) That generation of fans started growing up and realising it was all abit fake, and potentially homo-erotic.
4.) Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley et al started to age and therefore didn't fight often.

Ah alright.

Also I think its become a lot more predictable of late. I mean its a given now that you'll see someone " making a miraculous recovery " to make a surprise return at one of these PPV's and one of the good guys turning evil.

Thats why wwe in the stone cold era was more fun. Unpredictable. Remember his regular tussles with Vince Mcmahon.

i'll be watching it, best match will probably be CM Punk vs Mysterio. I would have liked to see bryan danielson on the card.

Punk Vs. Mysterio could be very interesting. If Punk wins, Mysterio has to join the straight edge society... Punk would get huge heat for that and no doubt become a huge factor for the world title. And that could set up Punk Vs. Edge if Edge was to win the title on the same night. It would also make the Straight Edge Society one of the best stables the WWE has had. And that would be nice as the WWE has lacked a strong stable for some time.

The money in the bank ladder match could be quite good, but having watched TNA for some time now and Destination X recently, I doubt I'll be too surprised by what the WWE "superstars" can come up with. It wont come close to MCMG Vs. Generation Me last week.

Bret Hart Vs. Vince McMahon is going to need a major swerve because of Bret's condition. If he actually takes some shots to the head or tries to wrestle even half a match, then Bret is literally putting his life and well-being on the line. He's just not in shape to compete. So hopefully they have something good in store and after a small fistfight, someone interferes and something important happens. Because if Bret suffers one more concussion, or takes a bad fall he may not be walking again after tonight. Sorry, its not worth it even for a match at wrestlemania. Stay fit and well(ish) instead.

Randy Orton Vs. Cody Vs. Ted

Honestly, I dont think I care. Again its going to need a big important swerve to make it interesting to me. And I'm not sure where it would come from with this one. Probably going to be the least interesting match on the card.

Undertaker Vs. Shawn Michaels

Both are coming to the end... But I cant see the point of Shawn winning this one. Whoever ends the Undertaker's streak will instantly become the biggest villain in WWE for the next few years. Michaels may not be wrestling in a year. And so I have to feel his WWE career is over tonight thanks to an Undertaker win. Which would be a huge shame because I want to see a Shawn Michaels Vs. the kid he trained, Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan match at the next Wrestlemania. So maybe Undertaker wins and both have some time off after Wrestlemania and hopefully Michaels would find a way to come back in the future for a short spell to have a few special matches.

no good matches then

hbk and undertaker are old
bret hart and vince are older

the others arent really big stars

great that WWE is finally going downhill . its rubbish

HHH vs Sheamus has such low expectations that I half-expect something decent

HHH is surely going to put Sheamus over. They are good friends and Triple H is basically the only reason Sheamus has held a world title.

Nothing like the old Stone Cold/HHH/Vince/The Rock/Undertaker/Kane lineups

Its more the drugs that lead to lives ending early. You can be a part of the WWE and not overdose on drugs. Some people clearly dont feel its possible despite all the examples though.

Was tempted to watch this but have to be up early tomorrow so will probably miss it. Heres some classic WrestleMania moments:

I stopped watching when it went from WWF to WWE and it all got split up.

RAW on a Friday night and Smackdown on a Saturday morning used to be great.

I'll probably order it on tomorrow night and watch it.

Hopefully the Undertaker/HBK match can hold up to what it was last year. The WWE simply isn't as good as it used to be. I still watch the likes of Wrestlemania out of pure nostalgia, and I still enjoy going to the live shows but I'm not as into it like I used to be years ago.

I still love the Undertaker though, that'll never change, no matter how much my interest in the WWE has waned.

i was thinking of ordering it, but ill probably end up fast forwarding most of it, and just watch money in the bank, the jericho match, and the undertaker match, so ill prob get it by other means in the morning

Does Trish Stratus still wrestle?

I stopped when Stone Cold, The Rock and Mankind stopped wrestling.

His son? Ahh, fair enough. Seems odd that so many wrestlers let their kids carry on in a business where so many end up dead before they are 50.

guess it's a case of if it's good enough for dad then it's good enough for son.

I'll probably order it on tomorrow night and watch it.

I tried that, but to see the same storylines repeated numerous times(badly) just ruins it for me.

HBK vs Undertaker again sounded like a cracking match, I missed the show, can somebody put any links for the show?

The Taker/Michaels match was pretty damn good.

Not sure if Taker was meant to have a leg injury throughout, his knees are pretty shot nowadays so i wasn't sure.

And that last tombstone! That's a lot of trust there, and if Taker's knees were hurting that wouldn't have helped.

it was obvious it wasnt legit hurt, as HBK was working that knee for the entire match, but it was a great match, perhaps not better than last year though.
Also liked the massive 'CENA SUCKS' poster

Good point, it was the figure four where i thought that it must have been played.

Cena was hurt for a while though, Batista botched the DDT and you could hear Cena telling him to give him a minute and keep off his neck.

Not much of a spoiler, but jesus christ the diva match was one of the most laughable bits of TV I've ever seen. Whatever that fecking eejit Vicky Guerrero is doing she should stop. A complete embarrassment. Her winning move was her fallling off the top rope on to someone. Trying to pin her but somehow managing to roll the girl so mmuch she lifts her shoulders off the mat. She then seemed to attack the other girl with her tits and pin her again for the win. Diabolical stuff. Bring back the days of Chyna and Trish Stratus

That was horrific, obviously meant to be an homage to Eddie with the Frog splash but it didn't work. Why they decided to give that the go ahead i don't know.

Pretty poor apart from Taker/HBK but even that wasn't as good as last year.
