Martial isn’t a striker and we have plenty of talented attackers and a tactically adept manager. No need to overflow the situation.
I feel like It’s going to be a counter pressing smash and grab anyway. May as well be Rashford up top as anyone with Elanga or someone who will always track the full back playing on the left. Antony on the right.
Of course Martial is a striker. His best form has always been in that position.
Our only other option is Rashford, who is significantly worse in that position than he is on the left, both on the individual level and also what he brings to the team as a whole.
