Pogue Mahone
Closet Gooner.
Good game from him. Linked play up well. He’s a better footballer than I expected.
We don't have any other option, Martial is injured. Unless we changed formation or we played Rashford as a 9.Why has he gone straight in as started when we had decent form going.
It's so strange.
He was terrible. Wrong decision to start him. He lost the ball, did not offer any threat arially nor does he have the technique to keep the ballGood game from him. Linked play up well. He’s a better footballer than I expected.
It's like you really didn't watch the game, at all.He was terrible. Wrong decision to start him. He lost the ball, did not offer any threat arially nor does he have the technique to keep the ball
So he did these things? It's like you really didn't watch the game, at all.
Yes. He did. He almost always played the right pass and had good hold up play. He pressed way more than anything we saw from Martial this season. It's actually a bit funny how wrong you could be here. Do you have the stats to show how careless he supposedly was on the ball? Completed passes etc?So he did these things?
He lost the ball many times due to poor technique, he was no threat whatsoever and did not contribute. If that was a good display, it can only mean you have not seen a good striker for some timeYes. No he didn't. You are literally making things up right now.He lost the ball many times due to poor technique, he was no threat whatsoever and did not contribute. If that was a good display, it can only mean you have not seen a good striker for some time

What are his strengths? Serious questionCan’t decide if he was good today or not. He does good things but he is so slow i‘d back Juan mata and Cesc Fabregas carrying The groceries to beat him in a race. Has some nice touches and stuff but don’t know why but he just looks so clumsy with the ball.
Need to start finding a way to play to his strengths.

Being a decent back-up.What are his strengths? Serious question
I am surprised by the amount of criticism Weghorst's getting. Did he play like prime Drogba today? No. However, he held the ball decently and did allow us to play off him several times. One of the issues was that only Rashford had the capability to run in beyond him. We know the guy's limitations. Nobody is expecting him to suddenly get the pace of Usain Bolt. Although, of the problems we had today, I didn't think Weghorst was anywhere near the top of the list.
Like against Palace, a mistake to start himIncorrect.
Especially with our squad balance. Fernandes is a slow no.10 who can’t dribble or carry the ball; and Antony/Sancho/Amad as our right winger aren’t fast direct players.I can’t see how anyone can watch him and be desperate for us to add Kane. Far more talented of course, but having a gear 1 striker up top is harmful.
I am not. Because I am aware redcafe is infested with clueless idiots.
It's incredible isn't it.He's literally Martial at his worst. My god our fans man

Better at what?
Absolutely wrong. He had a decent game, though he needs more goal threat. He was terrible. Wrong decision to start him. He lost the ball, did not offer any threat arially nor does he have the technique to keep the ball
Matt. Damon.Burnley.
He wasn’t careless. In fact, he was so careful with the ball that every time he managed to control it, he took the safest back pass possible. The way people are talking on here, you’d think that being able to control a pass and then pass it right back to where the pass came from is some kind of incredible skill.
