Would you take Ronaldo ?

This fact was conspicuously absent in the Norwegian papers. ;)

Ooh!! The idea of Raul attached as an optional extra sounds good to me! As long as it's me he's attached to. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Kluivert it is!

People who say no, need onyl to look at how the man ripped apart the premierships best defence and one of the top three teams in Europe at OT.

The standing ovation he received was due plaudits to a man who is a phenomenal talent. I would sign Ronaldo in a heartbeat, he is unequivocally the best striking talent in world when all are at their peak. Although in Ruud we have the best finisher in the world at the moment. The two of them would be devasting in a partnership.

"From his room in the hospital, Ronaldo receives thousands of messages: e-mails, faxes, cards and even presents from his fans and supporters. Watching television, he sees his collegues of Inter wearing a t-shirt with his smiling face printed on, and three simple but moving words: “non mollare” (“don’t give up”). "

"It’s time to go back to Italy, but without rushing things. The coach, Tardelli, and the President Moratti know they need to wait, and let him play just friendly games at the beginning. When he goes to the Stadium, fans sing again to him the old song, his song: Phenomenon. "

Regarding Antohan,s post, Lippi- earlier Inter coach- said he was going to make Inter a Ronaldo-independent team, which is the same concern we're having regarding Ruud. Look at Juve. They have a pattern of play that enables them to have setbacks and injuries, and still win the double with a margin. Coach : Lippi.

without sounding too cheeky about this... so what?
none of us know the full details of what happened at inter, none of us know what happened in his personal life, etc etc

the basis of your arguement is that you wouldnt like him to sign for United because he doesnt appear to be loyal.

let me ask you a question. how many clubs did eric play for before he found his 'home' at United?

the only concerns i have about potential united players are:

can that player better our team/squad?
can that player do the business on the pitch for United?

the answer in Ronaldo's case is a resounding YES.

do you really give a shit what he did to Inter?

thing is, mr. blunder, I don't think he can do a good job for us. It's like having 10.5 players on your team.
Question : What would be his position ? ( Ruuds)
( He isn't a link-up-player )

Question 2 : What if he is a link-up-player, then what ? Tell you what, then you have 2 players that won't work for the ball; the striker and Fat Ron. Then what do you do ?

Personally, I agree with mr. Lippi, the system is greater than any of the players. That goes for Inter, Juve, and for us.

And BTW if you haven't got your sources and stats right, I think you better shut up, instead of accusing me of not knowing what I am talking about.
Agree...?

Fat Ron my arse. He scorched us at OT last month. He's the best striker of his generation. It ain't even close. The answer is yes.

what stats? i dont remember supplying any..
sorry i didnt realise you had an insight into Ronaldo's mind.. you know for sure why he left Inter? do tell.

mr. blunder, yesterday I was drunk and I didn't get laid after all, so .....sorry, I was a bit out of line there. Hope I didn't hurt you feelings...?!? :o :D

'Nuff ? <img src="graemlins/angel.gif" border="0" alt="[Angel]" />

Because Klievert runs around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Hell yeah, Fat Ron as a devil will bring us quadruple crowns for 3 years, guaranteed!!! or your money back :p . Seriusly, Ruud is a great striker, but Ronaldo is a beast. Having those two upfront and Scholes , Veron, Ole suplying balls. It doesn't get a whole lot better than that.
