Would Shevchenko Help?

Take a fully fit Ronaldo out of the picture, and Shevchenko is as good as, if not better, than just about every striker out there.

Has incredible pace, and has proven finishing ability in a very defensive Italian league.

The Premier League would be made for him IMO, so yes I think he would do extremely well for us.

I'm surprised we didn't get him when we got Yorke, because he only cost AC Milan £4M more than we paid for Yorke.

Considering the amount Rio cost, I can see AC Milan asking somewhere near £35M for him, unless they have financial problems, which could bring the price down to a more realistic level.

Love to have him though.

I'd be suprised if AC Milan would ever let him go for less than £25million. Even if they ran into financial troubles Shev would be one of the last players they would consider selling.
Its a nice dream but that is all it is.

It is unintelligent fans like you who give this club a bad name. Why would we sign a player like Gudjohnsen, a player with no pace, not a particulary potent goalscorer and who would ultimately not make the team any better than it is.</strong><hr></blockquote>

I think you should take over this forum, and guide us all.

Tho we're not worthy.

Got to agree with you there, the only way they'll consider his sale, is if someone comes up with an absolutely ridiculous offer for him - Real Madrid style.

If there is one player I'd love to see us break the bank to sign, it would be Shevchenko.
