Why was Mctominay playing for Scotland instead of entering himself as his own nation?

Bc it would have been a boring tourney where we know from the first second he ll win it all. We need other players to bring him down a bit.
McTominay isn't good enough to make the England squad. I suspect he knows that & that's why he opted for Scotland.
It would never have happened and it’s due to Kim Kardashian. Apparently she made all stops for Scott playing for England years ago, as he rejected doing underwear ads for her. Jude would have missed out if McTominay was in the squad and Kim knew that.

6 or 7 nil. His presence would have upended Southgate’s strategy of playing for a nil-nil draw and hoping for magic in a penalty shootout. McTom probably sticks 3 past Spain in the first half, sets up 3 in the second.

There's no wiping around McT. Boom, back of the net. That's how he rolls. Or shoots, anyway. It would have been the missing piece for England, but alas. Maybe they can hire him as their coach now.
