Unlucky guys. I’d have been on Croatia too if France hadn’t cleaned me out against Denmark.
This ain't the Cup to bet on corners and cards. Well, at least on overs.
Only beaten by Denmark vs France and perhaps one or two others.
I should have got on under 3.5 in the first half.
Croatia looked disinterested from the moment the second half kicked off. They didn’t use the right sided players at all, refused to spread it. Very strange. Anyway, that’s my dummy out of the pram and not doing a bet now. (Brazil and Belgium comfortable wins right on queue)

I actually had a live counter of goals, corners and cards (for one long term bet), and knew there is a few of both of those, yet still played.

I think over 1.5 is a banker @ 1.3. Not a massive price but decent if you put it in a double/treble.
Brazil/Mexico - Over 1.5
England/Colombia - Over 1.5
Belgium/Japan - Over 2.5
I’d do that treble @ 3.5 if I had any money.
Belgium/Japan - Over 2.5 goals @ 1.9 is a huge price IMO.

Yesterday was a great day . At 90 minutes in the Spain game I took Russia to win on penalties . Then I suggested on twitter that both teams to score in the first half of the Croatia game was 6/1 and amazingly I won that in 5 minutes. Then at 90 minutes in the Croatia game I took Croatia to win on pens and modric missed a 116th minute pen to make that happen
One of my friends just told me that he lost $5000 on Spain. He put the money after I told him that I had $600 on Spain because there was no way a team that good wouldn't win against a team that had 0 outfield players I couldn't recognize. My exact words were- I'd put more money in if I had access to it. Needless to say he's not very happy with me.

My best ever moment was backing Everton at 1-0 down very late against Spurs. Had a few quid then another fiver five minutes later. They went 1-1 and as I was trying to lay it off they scored again so won £900. All because of daytime drinking!

Over 3.5 goals at 11/5 seems generous. I have a feeling this will turn into a goalfest, particularly with Mexico counter-attacking at pace, which itself leaves them open to the counter-counter. There’s too many good goalscorers on show today (and not enough brilliant defenders) for it to be a snoozefest.

Same, betting on unders, your bet can be down before the game is over, with overs, it's never actually a failed bet till the whistle goes. Obviously not smart betting but fun
