I'd judge him on the next transfer window. If we screw up this time then the manager won't be taking the blame.
Given what Mark Ogden said in the podcast I listened to earlier; that Moyes was nicknamed 'Dithering Dave' at Everton and often changed his mind back and forth over transfer signings leading often to a final few days of panic in the window, I'm beginning to think perhaps Mr Woodward received a bit too much stick for his part in last summer's fiasco

Get rid of The Brain? No way.
If the story about how he handled Mata signing is true, he sounds like an absolutely brilliant Chief to have at the club. Guess we'll have to what happens in the summer though, he seems to have no problem signing sponsorship deals, a few more players and he'll righfully get his feet firmly planted under the table.
I really have no idea if he should stay or go.
However, I'm impressed that he was willing to sack Moyes so soon. Obviously some would have had us do it sooner, but I was pretty sure Moyes would get another season just on principle.
But I think sacking Moyes was the right thing and Woodward deserves credit.
Paid over the odds for two players we didn't really need & nobody else seemed to be queueing up for ?
Swivel eyed, short arse - can't take him seriously - munchkin Bond villain - why won't he shave?
"In today's Times Woodward was asked if United would pay £60m, £70m or more on a player.
He replied "Yes, absolutely" Waiting
If you'd been at school with him & he so much as looked in your direction - he wouldn't have made it to sixth form.
"If we have a bad year we have the financial strength to change the team. We have so much deeper financial strength that instead of selling three players and buying three, we can do five." = small man syndrome.
Am I the only one that finds comments look this bemusing? He was told to sack him. He didn't have any option.

He was at least part of the decision to sack Moyes, along with the Glazers, other directors including Sirs Alex and Bobby.
