you must be happy marching but it does look like a bollocks verdict, even u have to admit it, if u had been involved in an attack like that with a few lads u would all be going down.

british justice stinks

:(

I am delighted that justice has been done - check my previous posts and you will see all along I have said that Bowyer was not involved and it was likely that Woody would have been involved to a certain extent as they were his mates involved. This is has been the verdict of the jury having seen all the evidence unlike anyone else, except of Softhead who seems to know everything, so surely it is clear that they are in a far better position to judge than us.
I still feel it wrong that the Leeds 2 should have got involved in this situation but verdicts have been reached and that is the end.
It has also to be remembered Sarfraz is a known trouble causer and indeed it was him that started the fight.

Whats Woodgate's status at Elland Road these days Marchin...? Is he going to be relegated to bench duty or what ?

I have been following all the aspects of the trial very closely Softy. Squareball was banned from taklking about it so we have been looking at other Leeds sites around the world where reporting restrictions did not apply. If you had done so you too would have known this verdict was on its way days agao as we did.

Didn't think you posted on Squareball...

I knew that verdict was on the way after the first trial collapsed - it was pretty fecking obvious. There was not enough concrete evidence to convict in all honesty and no jury would have anything other than 'reasonable doubt' in which case they can't convict.

There is due to be a press conference at ER within the hour when Bowyer is expected to appear although may not speak.
Any decision on Woody depends on his sentance.
PR did say he would be sacked if he was found guilty of the more serious offence of GBH so it looks like Woody is still a part of Leeds United.
And quite rightly so!

Who do you post as?

Video evidence of his shoes, the ones that went missing, the ones with the buckles on that Bowyer said he didn't own and the glare in the camera was the reflection of the light off his ankles... yeah right mate, and how long do polish your ankles for each day?

I wish you would get your facts right Softhead...the video was outside the club and showed him not wearing any socks, hence the shiny ankles.
Where is the video you talk of showing him putting the boot in?

thats like saying that the leeds fans deserved to get stabbed in Turkey because they're famous for causing trouble and being racists.

can't believe that woodgate got 100hrs community service.. apparently 16 million was spent on their defence.

16 million squid for the price of freedom?

It would be nice to see Woodgate doing his community service with the Salford youth as Eric did, they'd sort him out ;)

Bollox! That is not the same at all - the Leeds fans murdered in Turkey were not known trouble causers or racists. The fact Sarfraz was known to police in Bradford for cuasing trouble and did throw the first punch outside the club does not of course mean he deserved in any way what happened to him but does give some insight to his character

can't believe that woodgate got 100hrs community service.. apparently 16 million was spent on their defence.
The whole trial cost around £16 million including the first trial brought to an end by Sarfraz senior talking to the press. It is costing Woody £1million pounds in defence fees - He had many character witnesses speaking up for him and this was taken into account when the judge passed sentance.

0r £16 million to put the animal Clifford where he belongs!
