Apparently Nickelback is playing in the closing ceremonies. Seems like they want to make sure that the hockey victory is the last thing we remember from these games.
Oh wow, I think I woke the neighbours up with the shouting!!! Today hasn't been the greatest of days for many reasons, but first United and now Canada has left a positive mark on today.... The screams and shouts were probably not just for Canada or United, but who cares, the gold has gone home.

Great win for the Canadians - my cousin in Vancouver is in the stadium.
One thing people living outside of Canada really missed out on in these games I feel...and Canadians were really lucky to experience....

That's one thing I was very impressed by...CTV really knows how to portray patriotism, get that Canadian spirit alive and running and get that "Canadiana" feeling into everything..Even the adverts by the sponsors were very touching..
