and what's with all this RA RA Heskey crap...I thought he played rather, average. And unfortunately for Argentina so did Veron and the rest of his side at the WC. Otherwise they would have made it out of the first round. While England did make it outta the first round I think you'd have a better arguement backing Owen.

I think a better perspective on the whole Heskey issue for ya Davo is: On a scale of 1-11 ranking all the guys that played for you, where would you place Heskey as far as contributing to the games?

Hey ...I'm perfectly happy with dropping it as far as I'm concerned pining about how mediocer Heskey is is is waste of all of our time. ;) :p
 
Veron coming to OT was massive. A true World Class talent wanting to play for Man Utd spoke volumes about how highly Man Utd are viewed throughout Europe.

I dont give a flying fig about passport bollox etc Veron was happy to come.

His form was affected by the team struggling as a whole. When the team plays well expect Veron to be at the hub.

You just watch Veron, and the team fly this season. I cant wait !! :)
