Wimbledon

I predict that I will suprise everyone by winning Wimbledon and marrying Maria Sharapova.

You heard it here first.

I am not a fan of Murray, not a fan of tennis really. Why he is always pissed off?

Because he's an arrogant cock!, when things don't go his way, he's injured!, quite a good player, but has no respect for other professionals!...personally, I think his younger brother will on to bigger and better things! The mighty 'Hen' will reign!....:lol:

Henman has been playing really well since the end of the third set, performance like that won't get him anywhere near the title but he can bid a decent farewell to the Wimbledon. He was a bit unlucky not to reach the final when he was at his peak, now there's no chance of that happening unfortunately. I've always liked him, good player, I had a rocket like his when I was training as little boy (I was better than him though).

EDIT: He's losing it now, I think that's where it should stop, there's no point in carrying on playing when you can't beat an elderly man like Moya at your own ground with the backing of your own fans, on the suface Moya has never been that great at. Pathetic stuff, unfortunately.

Wow, that's some game, what a pity it has been suspended. I will have to wake up quite early tomorrow to see it then, it's worth it though, so many twists and turns, it looked like over for Henman when Moya got a break in the last set but he managed to come back, then it looked as if he all but sealed a victory but lacked the finish, so it's tied at 5-5.

They should have lights at centre court, just like in some other tournaments.

those fecking fans got on my tits, shouting "c'mon tim" after every fecking point, was very very annoying

COME ON TIM!! ;)

The last four games of that fifth set had enough action and tension in them for a whole match, but when is it any different with Tim eh?

Here's hoping he is fired up from the off and can see this one out in two straight games later today.

All credit to Moya as well, great/entertaining tennis from both.

People that criticise Henman will miss him when is no longer around at Wimbledon, simple as. The style of tennis is so rare nowadays too.

Would like to see Mauresmo have a successful defence of her title but she'll need to find some form to repeat her victory over Henin, if it comes to that.

The draws are out.

First round matches worth watching:

Robby Ginepri USA
v
Fernando Gonzalez CHI (5)

Carlos Moya ESP (25)
v
Tim Henman GBR

Gael Monfils FRA
v
Thomas Johansson SWE

Mardy Fish USA
v
Rafael Nadal ESP (2)

I`m at work at the moment and don`t know what matches have started other than Henman vs Moya which I saw a bit of yesterday. If the others haven`t started then I pick the highlighted players. If they`re already started then just disqualify me mehro...

Federer was a bit shaky yesterday day BTW, he`ll win for sure, but not in the same style he did last year.

"C'mon Tim!!"

Heh heh, remember when everyone in England used to think he'd win Wimbledon, simply overlooking the fact that he's rubbish?

Janković and Đoković
:D
you heard it here first

seriously, if there wasn't for Federer, Novak would have good chances
and I wasn't joking about Janković, I really think she'll do it

Yes, here we go...won on Monday.

Tipsarevic bt Peya 4-6 3-6 6-3 6-4 6-3

Must have played this morning. Can't find result tho.

Edit: Yes I can. Two sets to love up...tie break in the 3rd :D
