Wimbledon 2013

Yeh he's like one of those boys who is horrible to the girl he likes in the playground.

Another solid match from del potro. As always I want Djokovic to win but will be just as happy to see potro win another grand slam.

Convincing win from Murray in the end. He had that blip in the middle of the 2nd set but apart from that he didn't have too many problems. The fact that a tiebreak is the closest an opponent's got to getting anything from him in the tournament shows how convincing he's been so far.

Murray not at his best but he gets the job done, that's what it's all about. Let's hope Haas continues his great year and shocks Djokovic.

I know Ferrer was late before, but we've been waiting for Tommy Haas to turn up for ages now...

Haas has managed to break now. Massive contrast to Djokovic walking all over him in the first set. Might not be as simple as we had first expected it to be, although Djokovic will probably still prevail.

Djokovic breaks back after a really good game. Thought Haas was out of it but came back from 0-40 and the two of them had a very long rally which he won to get back into it. Losing that game could take a bit out of Haas though.

The booming Berdych inside-out forehand is one of the best sights in tennis.

He's probably the most metronomic player on tour. Every shot is flat, hit hard and placed right at the baseline.

He's probably the most metronomic player on tour. Every shot is flat, hit hard and placed right at the baseline.

One of the most reliable forehands on the tour and if there's anyone you want to put a shot away mid-court it'd be Berdych. He hits the lines better than anyone.

Haas putting up a fight there with the break. Got to admire his resilience.

We've got a potential problem of fading light both here on Centre if Haas wins this set and over on Court 1.

Djokovic just makes people miss simple putaways. His presence and ridiculous retrieval skills puts people off.

Both matches finish at identical times. It's Djokovic v Berdych now and that's a big test for Djokovic. Tomic played a very good match and Berdych had to be really good today.

 She's fecking adorable isn't she. Has been my favourite at Wimbledon for a few years now. Love her even more for beating that Serena twat.

I'd actually be able to give up my addictions to alcohol, porn, and the caf for Lisicki.

She is mentally unbreakable and physically powerful on the court, yet she is so feeble and timid off it. Remarkable really.

Sabine  Not expected must be said. Lots of people choke leads to Serena when they're ahead and Lisicki isn't exactly known for her mental strength, so congrats to her. Helped massively by an off colour Serena Williams though, who was well below her best today

Haza! nice one Lisucky!

She has a bit of an equine grill on her.. To be fair she looks cute as feck though. Hell if Carla Suarez Navaro beat Serena Williams I'd probably have a celebratory dip.

This Janowicz guy seems like a bit of a lary cnut.
fecking oath! Wild as feck.

He's a pretty brutal hitter. He just seems like such an angry cnut.
RARRRRRR /booming forehand

He was interesting to watch the other night against Almagro, the body language from the Spaniard all game was 'woah.. This guy is intense...' like a deer in the headlights.

Ladies' Singles - Quarter-finals

Centre Court from 1.00pm

Agnieszka Radwanska (POL) [4]
v
Na Li (CHN) [6]

Petra Kvitova (CZE) [8]
v
Kirsten Flipkens (BEL) [20]

No.1 Court from 1.00pm

Sabine Lisicki (GER) [23]
v
Kaia Kanepi (EST)

Sloane Stephens (USA) [17]
v
Marion Bartoli (FRA) [15]

Will likely watch Radwanska/Li and then Stephens/Bartoli. Lisicki should get past Kanepi without too many problems and pretty much the same for Kvitova if she can get her shit together. Li/Lisicki semi and then Kvitova/Stephens.

I'll be ensconced over on No 1 Court this afternoon.

I agree Lisicki ought to win although it may be in three sets, there'll certainly be no doubt about who is the crowd favourite.

I hope Bartoli wins but time will tell, she's not dropped a set thus far and her experience as well as awkward playing style stand in her favour. Radwanska and...oh let's have another coupon buster in Flipkens.

Inverdale is badly struggling to fill airtime at the minute, just compared Kirsten Flipkens to a Beatrix Potter character. Also rambling on about how you might judge the quality of he QFs by the struggles of the corporate hospitality areas to fulfil their allocation.
