I can't remember the last time we made a big-name signing in January though. If anything, we'll bring in a complete unknown. Weren't Vidic and Evra signed in January? obviously they weren't big names then, but they were obviously very valuable finds.

Apparently Liverpool were interested in signing Vidic too.

We signed Evra, Vidic, Larrson and Louis Saha in January, whilst Scohles came out of retirement last January. The infamous deals for Ljajic and Tosic were also done in January.

January movement is certainly something that happens at Manchester United.

I think we had been interested in him a couple of years before but due to injury, we didn't go in for him
