now that would be silly.

I d say we have the deal done for him to link up with the United squad in the summer but he stays on loan there with his wages picked up by CP.

What I do hope for is him to remain injury free until may.

You can't play for 3 clubs in the space between transfer windows IIRC. Lukaku had played for Anderlecht and then Chelsea stupidly put him on in the last few minutes of a game, therefore ruining a chance of a loan.
 
You've got to feel for Carrick, 6 seasons as a first choice midfielder, 3 UCL finals including one win, 4 Premier League Medals and a League Cup and still no song. This fella hasn't even trained with us yet and he's got about 5.

I'm glad it's done, and I'm glad that little tidbit is in there. Might let poor Ian Holloway answer some other questions at his press conferences other than "What's the latest with Zaha?".

Even though I say I'm glad, I still have no idea how good the kid actually is, just his reputation. Might need to start watching some Palace games.

Exciting buy. Spoken to a few mates who follow clubs in the Championship and all say the same, Zaha is comfortably the best player in the league & has huge potential.

Only 20 so hopefully we can really prosper here!

Give him 2 years in United and he should be fully ready to become a Premiership star.

All he need is games and experience.

Great signing, hopefully this lad has a very bright future with us. SAF rarely gets it wrong, so I'm extremely excited about this.

Hopefully he can also fire Palace to promotion now!

Apparently its not possible to agree a pre-contract with football league clubs. So we are signing him (hence medical now) and loaning him back
 
How and where will we play him? He's used to playing over 40 games a season for Palace but will probably play less than 20 when he comes over. Hope he has the patience and drive to succeed. Other young players like Powell have hardly seen any playing time and are probably still developing under United guidiance.
 
Took me a little while to warm up to this signing but I'm excited now. He has more potential than other young winger/strikers on our books and I look forward to seeing him make the most of his chances. Fergie clearly believes in his ability.
