Wilfred Zaha

If Rashford moves to CF then he makes sense as first choice LW, assuming we dont think Sancho is best suited to that position in our set up.

I rate zaha as a utility back-up but I think Garnacho is already better at lw

Always rated him and never understood why he was never given a proper chance here.

If EtH wants him, I'm fine with it.

Exactly. This should be our response to every personnel decision at this point. He’s even gotten a tune out of Weghorst of late. Ten Hag is a wizard and has totally earned my trust.

Moyes and his ego probably, same reason he overhauled the backroom staff and made Rio and Vidic study Jagielka - wanted to show he was in charge, couldn't be having SAFs last signing making a big impact.

Wait, he didnt make Rio and fecking Vidic study Jagielka did he?

My main concern with him is he is the main man at Palace and not sure how he'll fare as just another squad player who will probably be a back up to the main starter in the 11.

that Jagielka story was made up

He’s better than Elanga, is free, presumably isn’t on big money and qualifies as a homegrown player. Assuming we can get away without paying him a huge salary and he’s happy being a backup/impact player, it seems like a no-brainer.

Not sure if he’ll be happy to go back to being a bench player as opposed to the being the star of the show for Palace. He’s got a bit of attitude to him too. But he’s undoubtedly a good player for depth, an excellent chaos maker up front.

If we get bought, we aint signing Palace players for free. If the Glazers stop, Zaha might be the best signing we make sadly.

Garnacho is 18, Zaha is 30. A youngster competing with an older player is a more healthy dynamic imo than two guys the same age. Theres more of a sense of an organised succession. The younger guy starts up backing up the older guy and eventually the older guy ends up backing up him.

After watching our guys out there today, he will not be a bad signing.
