Why is Richard Arnold getting a free pass from the fans?

It is. A shit-ton of debt is coming due soon and will need to be paid off or rolled over at significantly higher rates. The Glazers can't afford the status quo.

They’ll look to get investment I reckon.

They don’t want full sale.

Even with Ratcliffe coming in, I think a lot of the current execs would keep their jobs.

Is it possible that people see things differently to each other despite having the same moral compass?

Some people can see the requirement for rehabilitation whilst seeing the wrong that was done.
Whereas some others see different.

For me this is an incredibly complex situation, one that not many if any other clubs have been in before, so it's not quite as easy as you seem to think it is.

Rehabilitate him, fine.

Pay for him to have psychotherapy or whatever else might help him, sure.

But he should never wear a Manchester United shirt again, simple as.

If you're going to claim someone is lying, then yes.

The least you can do is check if they are rather than insinuate they have some ulterior motive like a weirdo.
I didn’t accuse anyone of lying. Nor did I state they had an ulterior motive. I simply asked for evidence or if they were going of unsubstantiated rubbish. Not sure what you’re comprehending, but step away from the petty insults.

Agree that they prefer partial investment - just don't think they'll get it, at least not on the terms they'd like.

If INEOS came in, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brailsford replace Arnold. Which would in itself be another huge can of worms.

He needs to come out and speak after this situation has been “resolved” now. Mistakes have been made.

Should be the first out the door if the club ever gets sold

Is there a way we can get the Glazers fecking resigned as well?

Because I’m sure when Arnold speaks, Joel Glazer has his hand up his ass.

Crafton's leaks would've ended the CEO at any other club. But we all know he's a Glazer stooge.

A fish rots from the head - love that saying. And with this cnut at the helm, we got no chance. Always thought he was a smary bastard the way he took some supporters for a pint and told them what they wanted to hear. Get rid!

Why should be quit? This entire process was never going to be clean nor easy.

Whatever anyone says will never be universally agreed to. What was said, how it was communicated, the context, etc.

At the end of the day, in the most PC way knowing how much legal, private, and sensitive details could/could not be shared...Mason Greenwood is never playing football for Manchester United.

The tweets and the like say United could or will do a loan or sell is pure guess work.

What did Crafton leak?

He didn't leak anything...the club knew exactly what he was saying and it was rather thorough.

The detail in many of his tweets exceeds what the club nor any giant corporation would do themselves.

I really believe this was all part of the plan and justifies Arnold's final decision.

Maybe because he has insufficient privilege to reply to any content?..

C'mon Richard, two weeks to make some football actions, that will steer the club back on the track, and away from drama & circus.

They just didn't need to add "we don't think he did what he was accused of" part.
Maybe. If he didn't think it was a criminal then I'm not pushed about it. I doubt he threw it in for his own benefit (maybe he did to protect against rumours that he was bringing him back but that sounds a bit dumb to me)
I didn't like the process, i dont like the leak, i dont like it being dragged out this long and think it was a mess. Today's statement is fine though from my perspective.

The worst part about his statement is this: "Although we have decided that Mason will seek to rebuild his career away from Manchester United, that does not signal the end of this matter."

What does that even mean? You want this farce to continue??? Give me a break dude. Draw a line on it ffs.

No issues with the statement. It was pretty reasonable I think.

Reread it, a few times.
I'd rather not. My slim connection to the case is over. Its a police matter that wont be resolved to my satisfaction which i could discuss but has little to do with this specific case. The case was handled terribly but Manchester United and Richard Arnold are so far down the list of people responsible so as to be irrelevant.
