Why can we never beat Sevilla?

Plus the one last night. And the other own goals.

Those aren't bad luck, they're bad players making stupid mistakes because they can't handle the pressure.
His own goal was bad luck. But when you’re down those things tend to happen to you. Malacia fecked up for his own goal, and Maguire fecked up for the opener last night, and Dave fecked up for their 3rd last night. We didn’t play well going forward but it’s a hell of an ask to have your strikers undo 5 goals worth of bad luck and bad defending. If our first choice back 4 play 180 minutes, we progress 2-0 on aggregate I’m sure.

because it's a high-determination, hard-working team playing as a unit, well-drilled in European competitions and comfortable as an underdog against a team with theoretically better players. The three last times we faced them we were favourites and three times we lost, even if our wage bill was every time a couple of times higher than theirs. It's not even a bogey team I guess, we just struggle against organised teams full of fighters, and perhaps they find additional motivation by going as "the second best" and then destroying overpaid lads like Sancho who earns the same amount as some 25% of total Sevilla salaries

We aren’t technical enough and have a terrible goalkeeper.
