I have to say i'm loving the turn around, this time last year Madrid were the biggest cnuts in the universe. Now United are slowly edging into Madrids corner. Can't wait for the our Ronnie (CR7) thread next season.

this is a good point but also Barcelonas defence is much better than Madrid in my opinion.
Pique and Puyol are immense and Dani Alves is top noch also.
However i disagree as such. The likes of Kaka' and Ronaldo would stroll into the Barcelona side. Both would walk into any side in the world so the Barca midfield could become stronger with those players. From what you said you made it sound like Barca are 100% better than Madrid but IMO they are not.
I think Madrid have now sewn it up.

Both will probably drop points still. Barca can drop points as early as this month when they travel to Espanyol in the Catalunya derby. Beside being the derby, Espanyol is currently 4th!!
But I was checking the fixtures and Madrid has an interesting one:
Real Madrid's last 5 Away matches this season are -in order-: Atletico Madrid, Athletic Bilbao, Valencia, Sevilla, Villarreal !!!
Oh and EL Clasico will be their home game between the Bilbao and Valencia games

Barca have beaten some good sides this season, Atletico away, Villarreal, Sevilla, Real. Whereas the only real "good" side Real have beaten is Atletico, at home, so it will be interesting to see how they will fare.

The gap between 1st & 20th in the Premier League is currently 35 points. In La Liga, the gap between 1st & 5th is 36 points.
