Who potentially replaces Ronaldo?

The Neymar links make more sense now...
Actually think it would be quite good business myself. Versatile and won't cost too much. Seem to have a decent relationship with Barca too.

Depay's down the pecking order at Barca, soyeah I think he's willing to come back. Didn't we also add a first option clause in his contract? He can get his old number, the number 7 will soon be vacant.

It all depends who is realistically available at the right price.. i guess Andre Silva and Patrik Schick wouldn't break the piggy bank .

The reason that false 9 idea is terrible is not so much that it's impossible Bruno could do it (transplant him into the City team and I'm sure it'd be alright) but that it relies on a very drilled side where you're going to create plenty and totally control things thus spreading goals around.

ETH is not an absolute magician, you can't just go off the City template and say it's fine. It's going to take time and he'll need a finisher in that period before we become totally convincing. Asking him to get that style of play out of Bruno, Rashford and Sancho with whatever midfield we end up cobbling together is total dream land. In fact it's borderline unfair to ask a manager to take over Manchester United with the spotlight we have with Bruno Fernandes and a hideously out of form Rashford as your forward. I am pretty sure that is not what he anticipated.

That was when we sold him to Lyon - I doubt that still exists, if it ever did.

Not Neymar, not Dybala, not Dembele.

Stop making the same mistakes.

I like the look of Broja (in case Chelsea wants Ronaldo). Love his workrate and he's decent technically. Seems like a good fit for ETH

All the strikers we go for now will add at least 15m on seeing as we are desperate, Looks quite bad that we missed out on Nunez now

Belotti is a free, while not the most clinical CF, he's a bulldog and is very direct. Wouldnt be a terrible bridge to a more formal player next season. Not a bad shout given the circumstances.

Jonathan David, Isak? The club looks ahead and prepares 6, 12, 18, 24 months ahead. Very interested to see who comes in this window and/or next summer.

Funny thing is he actually looks like one!

Dybala/Gnabry.

No goals from headers though but dont want a big lump op top either.

There are capable players available, it's all just a matter of the Glazers being willing to spend their own cash to save the club. My pick is Osimhen and Moussa Diaby, or Schick and Moussa Diaby.

I’d take Werner and Zyiech for Ronaldo.

You have to be a secret Liverpool fan. How is it after two years of watching these two players completely fail for a rival you turn around and decide we should take them on instead? Are we Everton now, are we at a stage where we're supposed to take the rejects of other top clubs? Come on, have some standards. Those two are awful.

They would never spend a cent. It's not necessary either, we could get the finances in place if we really deem it to be of critical importance.

I like Toney and DCL etc. they are much harder working than anyone we currently have on the books. The problem is this is a year where 3 potentially world class strikers of a really good age have moved and our hands were tied because we stupidly signed Ronadlo with yet more short term thinking.

This could be a good thing. There is an opportunity for a swap deal with several teams. It also allows ETH time to build what he would like to do without needing to manage Ronaldo. The honest truth is, it most likely means us giving Martial another chance in this team. However, with a coup for a player like Belotti, we could have two players rotating for the role rather than having a star forward. Rashford would also get an opportunity to compete for the role as will someone like Garnacho. We would be buying ourselves a year to see what we may have in that position already, without the need to accommodate Ronaldo's age when thinking about our future framework. It also means that we should be ensuring that another wide player is bought.

We can have an attacking line of : Sancho, Rashford, new player, Martial, Garnacho, Amad. Is it the best now, no. However, I truly believe the pla

To be honest, I don't think Chelsea have used Ziyech well. I think he's better than what it seems.

Ivan Toney?

You joke, but I could see us putting 50m in for him or King or someone like that.
And the drones on here would love their running about skills, and ignore they only score about 10 a season.

If Ronaldo leaves he could not be replaced and they shouldn't try. They need to build a team and they need to start from the back. The deffence has been a joke for too long now.
Ten Hag is no wizard, he can't make a maguire play like a superstar all of the sudden. This team needs new players and a fresh new start.

With our budget and current situation in mind probably Belotti

Abraham or Osimhen would be nice. Both experienced but also young. I think we'll have enough budget because we won't let Ronaldo go for free. If both are not for sale, perhaps Depay is a cheaper option. He became a better player but he's shite if he plays as a single striker. Dutch squad Bergwijn plays around him and that goes allright.

Zyiech is a very good player but doesn't fit into Chelsea's narrow system. Werner as well I think would thrive under Ten Hag with his speed.

I'm sure the same could of been said about De Bruyne and Salah when they were at Chelsea before and look at them now. Look at Gnabry at Bayern.
