Freddy Kruger
Also had the greatest scene in cinema history
Daniel Day-Lewis is a good shout. Two all-time great villainous performances in There Will Be Blood (the one you’re thinking about) and Gangs of New York. This monologue in the latter is incredible:I liked Daniel Day Lewis in the oil movie who's name i've forgotten.

You think There Will Be Blood is terrible?Terrible films where DDL became an overacting ham Actoooor.
Yes I do. OTT bollocks. It was at the point where DDL Lewis just dressed up in comedy period dress, shouted very loudly and everyone fawned over what a great Actoooor he was. He could have walked on, dropped his pants, taken a huge shit and then walked off and the critics would have been fawning over him. In fact that isn't too far off what did happen. Before 2000 he was great. After that not so much, although I have avoided his more recent films like Lincoln, largely because he is in them. Which is a shame because I used to watch films because he was in them. You think There Will Be Blood is terrible?
I don’t think Gangs of New York is a great movie but I think DDL makes it watchable. His Bill the Butcher is campy and pulpy but most great villains are to an extent and it suits the movie.Yes I do.
