Who do you honestly think will go next summer?

He no longer is. Rio is the most expensive purchase now. That should have saved his face and pave the road for him to sack Veron ;) </strong><hr></blockquote>

The other 15 million hasn't been paid yet ;)

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> Yes you're right.

I think some will go before summer.

To be honest I dont think anyone is safe. There is a transfer window in January and then come the summer I think all reasonable offers will be listened to. Wether they are taken is another matter but imagine the message that will be sent if the manager/board dont dismiss an offer eg for Giggs straight away.

Which may actually turn out to be a good thing at the end of the day. It would certainly shock the living daylights out of the complacent ones.

Ok honestly....

Barthez wont go, Fergie is a big fan of Fabs, he is going nowhere.

Nevilles also will go nowhere, They are part of the OT furniture, neither of them will want to go anywhere and Phil is playing well anyway! (city match excluded)

Seba, Fergie wont sell because it will be like admitting a mistake.

May, gone
Blanc, gone
Chadwick, gone
Djordic, likely gone
Carroll, possibility

Becks, Seriously as if?

We wont see wholesale changes simply because we cant afford to make them, we will cull a few outside players and bring in one or two, dont expect a major overhaul.

I doubt that. I'd want to ask if he really has tried hard enough to adapt to OUR game. Take Saturday's game as an example. It was obvious that he looked casual, careless and couldn't care less for this derby match.</strong><hr></blockquote>

To say Veron couldn't care less for Saturday's game is wide of the mark - the ball didn't go through him in the midfield even he made himself available! Neither Phil or Scholes was willing to pass to him, so how can he perform? This was more a problem with our playing style/tactics or whatsoever, but I certainly can't see any attitude problem with Veron, at least in this derby match.

Performance-wise and attitude-wise, only Ole deserved praise!

Giggsy and Becks were pale shadows of themselves, especially our Welsh wizard, and unless their performance improves dramatically during the next few weeks, I see no reason why we can't start re-building our squad right away in January by accepting reasonable offers for them.

any first teamers amongst them in your opinion?</strong><hr></blockquote>

I wouldn't hazard a guess as to who. But no-one is safe.

Remember Jaap, Sparky, Ince and Kanchelskis.

I think Seba will be on his way back to Italy, he does better there and it would make sense for him to play in a league he's comfortable in. He does the biz for us in Europe but not in the league, and if we can recoup at least £20M for him, we should sell.
Chadwick is probably off too, and Blanc will probably retire. I wonder about Barthez too, I won't be surprised if SAF brings in a top class keeper, and that would put Fab under pressure.

Not this time around though. We don't have the personel to carry us through with the loss of several first teamers unless we bring a few in which would mean getting the PLC's check book out again and how many times are they going to relent?

I'm not sure who will go because of the difficulty in finding replacements.

If replacements are available, I think we might see Barthez, Veron and Solskjaer go.

Solskjaer? Can you explain why? I can't find a single reason why we should sell Ole.

My guesses are:
Very probable to go:
Blanc
Chadwick
May

Quite probable to go:
Veron
Ricardo

Relatively safe:
Phil Neville
Forlan
Silvestre
Barthez
Carrol
Fortune
Brown
Ruud

Definitely safe:
Gary Neville
Rio
O'Shea
Beckham
Giggs
Scholes
Butt
Keano
Ole

I think for self-respect, he will ask to go. He's 30 next year  and owes it to himself to spend at least one season as a main striker somewhere.

I think he's safe from the axe, but might choose to go.

I don't think he will "choose to go" himself. Spending one season as main striker somewhere else can be done when he is 33. At 30 he still has plenty to offer us.

Not if you want to find out for yourself, and to show others, what you are capable of before you are too far past your peak.
