Add The Expanse and The Last Kingdom if you havent seen them.
The Wire then the rest in any order. The Wire is the greatest show ever made imo.I'm going to be laid up for a good few weeks soon, and I've never seen a plethora of what are deemed to be the best TV shows of all time. So I'm going to take the opportunity to watch them while I can, without work getting in the way.
The main ones I've never seen are as follows:
The Wire
The Shield
Soprano's
Band of Brothers
So which one should I throw myself into first?

You can't watch the worst one last. It'll be a let down.
I understand the logic here, but I would take a different tact. Go into a sabbatical with a positive outlook of the greatness forthcoming shaped by Band of Brothers first, then work through The Sopranos or the The Wire in either order with episodes of The Shield interspersed as a change of pace.I'd honestly would not start with Band of Brothers. It's too much of a high. As good as the others are, they are slow burners. Leave BoB for the middle or the end.
@Big Andy do you know how sopranos ends or have you avoided that fate throughout the years? As a punishment for not watching the wire or the sopranos yet, you should have to watch one of them in reverse order. Start at the finale of sopranos.
Yes I know how it ends, but that doesn't change my advice for @Big Andy.@op do you know how sopranos ends or have you avoided that fate throughout the years?
Nope, not a clueI meant big Andy, sorry. Does he know how it ends
